Simple shaves are always satisfying. One day I'll have to give Derby a try. While I'm not a fan of boar brushes, my Semogue brush is the exception. A good soaking and it works up a nice face lather.
Yes the quick simple shaves are nice every once in a while. This is the only semouge brush I have and it was a pretty good blind buy. Thanks for watching Bart!
Nice! I almost forgot about this soap, but it was one of my favorites when I was using it. A very pleasant lemon scent and I do remember that it was better than my other cheap soaps. I got some of the other scents, but I think the lemon is the best one. Nice razor too! Have a great one!
The Yaqi razor is pretty nice. I have had a few of their razors in the past and this is the only one that didn’t have quality control issues. Thanks for watching uncleL!
I've tried the Arko creams but I've never seen Derby creams or soaps in the shops here in Turkey. I think Arko has a monopoly. Most barbers use it. Derby seems to be more for export. Derby blades are easy to find.
I would probably like that Derby cream but I checked and the lemon must be discontinued, but they have menthol and unscented. I'd probably like the razor too since DOCs are my favorite. Have a nice weekend, what's left of it.

@@lawrence1md locally in websites all razors likes europe/USA but in market nothing all about wet shave, blades finding very hard if 90% made in Russia but now import from this country closed (war), in local markets only foam, cream in tube and cartridge, no blades, soap, brush, razors. Only finding on local websites
So checked online again and find none of this Derby Shaving Cream in the lemon scent. Discontinued as a few comments here reported? Most likely. Anyone know more?

They mostly use the Arko sticks. They squeeze them into a small pot into a puk.
