My partner undid the two large nuts from the two large screws under the washbasin. But different washbasin has different design in how they are mounted to the wall. For example, the new washbasin had 4 screws. Anyway, after removing those 2 big nuts, the two of us each held one side of the washbasin and used quite a lot of force to pull the washbasin outwards away from the wall. The washbasin finally came off after a lot of pulling
