I've always had a soft spot for the governor (as you can probably tell). He was complex and sensitive. He wasn't some mad man too far gone to be saved he was in pain from loosing everyone so much so he kept his bitten daughter. Michonne pushed him over the edge by destroying his last grip on to sanity. I love him as a character.
