Hey Kgoat, great video. Its not a feature I've ever used until recently but not sure how much effect it really has. On a side note, do you have a go to formation when someone is sending house at you every down. Played someone last night and literally blew me away with the blitz. I tried running the ball, but he blew that up, i tried swing routes, but he usered them. Blew my screen plays up, at one point i max protected from gun tight slots hb wk and even motion blocked a receiver, so in essence had 7 people blocking and yet it still came in
thats kinda what i would have suggested...gun tight has some nice quick routes that are tough to cover (PA Seams would be a good play with a hot route dragged). BUTTT...my go-to for man or man-blitz defense is Bunch Str Offset Y-Trail. It's pretty easy to SMOKE man coverage this way (check the drag first, then the texas route, the corner route and then the post. 1 of those 4 routes will almost ALWAYS get open and you only need a second or so to be able to hit them. I block the HB, slide protect either right or left, ID the mike to the outside and Y-Trail does the rest. OR you can send your HB out on a table route. Check my video out on that play. It's a SOLID go-to bro!!!!
Kgoat, thanks so much for researching this. We can always count on you to get to the bottom of stuff with this game. I'm gonna replay this stuff in slow motion to see how these zones are reacting. I'm also gonna try to test this out in a game on a 1st and 10 and see how it works.
dood, i do NOT like putting info out there that i'm not sure about and i felt embarrassed that i didn't know what i THOUGHT i knew about that setting. so HELL YEAH i researched it. and i'm really sorry i didn't do that before posting about it.
