thanks bro! it was REALLY TOUGH making this video for me. it really hurt. i don't want to let anyone down but i just can't STAND this game anymore. i've literally not ONE SINGLE TIME had real FUN playing the game or felt excitement loading it up. but i'll still be here bro and as always, i really appreciate your support!!

shading--if you shade UP, all flats will turn into purple zones (i.e. those cover intermediate sidelines). if you shade DOWN, all flats will turn into hard flats (i.e. those that cover the LOW flats). if you shade over the top, the DEEP zones will "allegedly" play better deep and if you shade underneath, the vert hooks/hook curls will "allegedly" play more aggressively underneath. ALL purple zones tend to play pretty much the same and all light blue zones also do. hope that help brother!!!!

btw, if you watched the MODERATE-ADVANCED video i just put out, it explains this in greater detail. it's a good video to watch, even if you don't feel ready to apply those concepts just yet! good luck my friend and welcome to the channel!!

yeah, dollar and double mug are definitely the defensive meta's right now my man! but like you said, madden defense is just...BAD right now. but if you play around with this defense, you'll see it can really help give you a chance. again, i think you're looking to get 1 or 2 stops a game and you can really use this defense to help GET those 1 or 2 stops. good luck brother!

DARK blue zones play DEEP. MIDDLE thirds play BETWEEN the hashes deep, DEEP half plays THAT side of the field deep, etc. ANY purple zone (curl flats, cloud flats, seam flats, etc.) BASICALLY play the same (basically)---outside midrange--i.e. corner routs, out routes, crossing routes. YELLOW zones (hook curls, vert hooks) basically play over the middle (translucent ones have matching characteristics and WILL man up a guy on certain routes). and the LIGHT BLUE zones play the flats (hard flats play the hard flats and SOFT Squats play the hard flats but have matching characteristics so they'll pick up an outside route and man them up. they DON'T man up routes that bail to the INSIDE). hope that helps brother!!! now be careful with these as being tried and true. GENERALLY speaking "translucent" bubbles in the play selection screen mean those zones have "matching" characteristics...but again, match is FUNKED UP this year so there are some weird matching characteristics that just pop their head up for no observable reason. but basically, what i just described is how each type of zones play.

2 ways, you can come out in DBL Safety Go and the audible out of that (your safeties come down in the box by default...just be warned that if you do certain adjustments after audibling, those safeties will suddenly shoot back OUT of the box). the EASIEST way is to just manually drag them down brother! just click off your user, drag one, then the other...sadly, just like in the video. it's the easiest my friend! hope that helps!

also, dood, usering is HARD this year. i'm QUITE sure you've noticed how your user gets SUCKED IN not just at the line but ALSO in coverage. i don't DARE "trail" a receiver too close now...i have to keep a very safe distance and that's a super tough tightrope to walk. i am still missing tons of interceptions because of that. i've honestly so far only had a few true user picks, just against the CPU. you're not alone so just keep plugging at it...trust that you'll get used to it. that's what i'm doing!

this is a tough one ESL! "competitively" if you run under center, it's feasible but i think you'd have to resort to using rollouts and if you're really good at it, then go for it. i mean, my suggestion is to TRY it out for a few games and just be willing to experiment and even take a loss or 2 to see if you can get it to work effectively competitively. i think against high level guys, probably not BUT, with the run game being so strong, who knows? if you DO test this out, PLEASE come back and comment as to the results if you don't mind. i personally have no interest in playing competitively until/unless they patch zones to actually WORK! lemme know bro!!!

dood, i hearya! this is in my opinion the HARDEST year to get used to the "user". our users get SUCKED INTO blocking animations from LONG distances away if you're anywhere near the line and then trying to stop crossers, drags and slants is SO difficult. it's like you get sucked INTO the guy and it's so hard not to "illegal contact" them, much less just to hang with them across the field. what i've been doing is running in FRONT of the receiver once i know what the route is (my TYPICAL user strategy is to run slightly behind and in FRONT of the receiver but that doesn't work so well in this years madden). i feel your pain bro!

Tell me about it and I actually ddnt get madden this yr so I just apply wat u teach to cfb 25 it’s works the same I also like how u broke down some situational adjustments in this video I wish u could dive a lil deeper into that in another video it would be very helpful anyways thanks KG

@@jab1832 hey jab, i have some madden 24 vids that were REALLY good for that. check out my Dollar/DBFire video which kind of covers that. i also did a defensive adjustment video for madden 24. i'll tellya somethin jab, i'm SO tempted to just SCRAP madden 25. i enjoyed madden 24 (even with it's problems) MORE than i am 25. why even PLAY if you can't play defense. defense is my FAVORITE part of the game and it's all but useless in madden 25. you're SMART just sticking with CFB25 dood. that game is at least polished and it's not such a big deal that defense is tougher because it's COLLEGE. ERGH!!!!!!!

johnny, it can be tough sometimes with quick snappers. but to set this blitz up takes literally 1-2 seconds. i'll have my whole defense already set up before the QB gets under center. as for coverage adjustments, THAT can be a pain with quick snappers for sure bro! but the blitz setup for this one is SUPER simple.

haha, fortunately for me, that was NOT me...that was the CPU bro! i was on defense and wasn't using a second controller. now to your overall point though, pretty much EVERY blitz CAN be picked up as well as overcome by EITHER standing tall in the pocket or moving up in the pocket OR using a designed rollout (as well as quick-hitting routes, etc.). thanks for the input dood, but for SURE i wouldn't rollout like that!

brad, i'm glad the vid helped brother. i don't offer one-on-one sessions. i really hate playing competitively (too many glitches, feel like i'm gameplanning around glitches half the time vs. just competing). i mean, i'm pretty good one vs. one but if i were gonna pay for a session, i'd want a madden pro or someone super high-level. i can tellya a guy who'd be GREAT for that though. go to codyballard's channel. he's an awesome guy and he does 1 on 1 sessions. you'd be in good hands!! hope that helps my friend!

dood, 100% and with coverage shell disguising, it's SO hard. i basically hardly EVER try to read what defense theyre in pre-snap. it's much more so important to read the defense AFTER the snap (kinda like a QB has to in the NFL--SOMETHING maybe EA actually got RIGHT). that's why this formation i think is so good because there are both man-beating AND zone beating routes in each play! and it's very easy to visualize!! glad this helped my friend!!!!!! means the world to me!

@@MRtiktikSMASH yeah, i didn't want to make the video TOO long bro! i will contain the HB side DE and i do some "tricks" with my slot and outside CB's too to "help" stop that. but let's be honest, the rollout glitch DOES live...the QB's in MUT and franchise are almost all too slow to take FULL advantage of it. but if someone WANTS to, it's VERY difficult to stop that! you're spot on my friend!

haha!! i KNEW you'd like this video dood. it looks so easy because this offense really IS easy to run. don't get me wrong, you DO have to make reads but they're pretty simple. i remember the first time running it (in that video i made), i was so nervous but i drove all the way downfield pretty dang easily and he was a good defensive player. that's what i was really sold on this offense!! hope it works out for ya dood!!! lemme know!
