It’s such a weird line. It was a plot point in the first arc that Greystripe’s relationship with Silverstream was getting in the way of his Warrior duties. I guess Brackenfur just sort of forgot about that :/
Brackenfur will always hold a special place in our hearts. While not a protagonist or secondary character, he should still get the love like a lot of background characters out there. Definitely happy to see that he's still alive and happy after so many arcs.
i think the reason why so many people remember/love brackenfur is that he got to live THE warrior cats life. he is so completely average that he is basically the representation of what being a warrior means and what warrior life is all about. he isn't twisted and evil, he doesn't have goody two-shoes protagonist syndrome, he's just some guy !! and we love him for that !! so many background characters will get killed off screen for no reason (still so sad abt rainwhisker's death) but brackenfur has really held through. i wish him a happy retirement and a long legacy. really hoping one of his kin inherits his "average joe" genes
I love Brackenfur for the same reasons basically. He lives a long full life of love, respect and duty and if I could be in the Warriors universe there is no doubt i'd be a Brackenfur over anyone.
YES!! My best boy!! I want them to make him a mini so bad :') The Warriors Insta even said a while back which characters do we wish would get more page-time and they liked the comment about me saying Brackenfur even tho he doesn't really offer much lol I don't really know how he came to be my number one when the three characters I like most after him are Ravenpaw, Hawkfrost, and Blackstar lol I agree with you tho, he'd make an amazing deputy and I wish he'd gotten that, but he wouldn't be as interesting a leader - which is a good thing in the end that he wasn't chosen as deputy
