    Idea for next session- comparing pumps commonly covered by insurance at $0 upgrade fees from “most reasonable for the widest number of moms” to “oh….it’s probably the pump, not you.”

    I was really looking forward to this ! I only use wearable cups and started out with the zomee one since that’s the pump I got with my insurance. My second type was more of random brand from Amazon since I found the zomee ones leaked a bit when i pour them out. Gotta say the Bella baby pump has alllll sorts of little adapters and so far I like it. I wanted something much smaller and the zomee has a super sensitive screen so it’s not great to wear around. Thanks again for all your work and research!

    Have you tested the rumble tuff cups with spectra s1 and freemie independence II? And the cara cups with freemie? I hated having to handwash the ledgendairy milk cups. Planning for another baby arriving in early July!

    More ideas for next time- (1) pumping on a shoe string budget, (2) space saving ideas for pumping parents with limited space at home for baby stuff.

    I’m considering the Baby Buddha for my second baby. I don’t know a lot about pumps, flanges, etc. but I know from my first pregnancy, I used Spectra S1 with off brand flanges in a size 13 mm. I noticed that Baby Buddha doesn’t sell flanges that small, so what do you recommend I do to make sure I can have the right size flange with the Baby Buddha? Thank you!

      Why would u leave spectra s 1

    • @DeedsReadz
      @DeedsReadz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@saadahyounis because I have to sit down the whole time while using it since it’s very bulky, and I will have a toddler and baby to take care of this time around and won’t be able to just sit down for 20 minutes to pump.

    I am 6 weeks from delivery and I have my spectra s2 from my first (4yrs ago). I am wanting to get a wearable or portable one via insurance for this one. I am ok upgrading and paying some, but I have no idea what to get. I had to exclusively pump with my daughter and I am not sure what will happen this go around. Help! I am planning on going to the webinar on the 3rd once registration opens.

      Pumpables genie or baby buddah are going to be up there in the sense of using 100 percent of the time no matter what. When it comes to wearables most common comparable to spectra s2 is the willow go

    Mothers could always try the silicone inserts with their primary pump and see how they like it.
    this video is a bit older, not sure if they’ll give feedback.

    Ncvi cups. Where are they readily available and where can replacement parts be purchased?

      I think they aren't really "readily available" anymore (if they ever were) and I see no sign that parts are available at all. Google did find them on Amazon, though curiously, searching on Amazon itself I can't find them. Cup alone are about $10 each (via Google link) , but also available, and can be found via Amazon's search, one can get a _pair_ of cups AND a halfway decent pump for $20 (50% off list). That is right now, don't know about in the next hour, however it says "available" not "x remaining order soon" (though if you want one, I would order soon) I'm using one right now and i can't complain about the pump, it is better than any other $20 pump I've tried, probably about as good as anything less than $100. It is not a Spectra, but it cost one sixth as much as my S2 and the NCVI has a battery and the S2 does not. Again I see no spare parts available, and duckbills are considered an expendable item, but for $20 one might just use it as long as the originals last. It seems wasteful, but the things have already been manufactured might as well use it _some_ before it goes to e-waste rather than not at all (though one can use the pump with other flange sets/cups)
