One way to make sure motor is running in correct direction, connect a servo tester to the wire that would go to receiver. Connect battery to ESC, connect to input side on tester. Then rotate the knob, this will take the possibility of a radio programming out of the equation. If wired incorrectly from the factory, you might contact whoever you bought it from and let them know. They could pass on to quality control. Prior to using heat shrink, and closing it up, you might power up, to make sure it is working right, just in case
Hey John, watched your video 2 of three on programming the NX forward programming and got to the part to initiate it on my little UMX Air Tractor, and it said “ Connection Failure”, what’s the solution? Thank you, Anthony
Sometimes you just have to keep at it till you get the result you need !! great end . might be allot of planes out there like that ..
Wild my FMS Ranger 1220 came with red to black/ black to red. Drove me nuts till I took a look under the hood and voila!

Strange that happened from the factory..
They told him his job but didn’t ask if he was color blind!!!!
You could be right lol😅
Reverse the throttle channel. No, not really. Just swap any two wires between the ESC and the motor.
