I didn't realize it until it was too late, but we gassed up beside you guys this afternoon in Big Timber. We had been on the road 16 hours so I wasn't as alert as usual. The Polaris looked awesome.

No, you guys are rad. I'm digging this Solo series. The trips feel more relatable. You guys should do a "classic" trip where you take out older vehicles that most of us would own and you use classic types of gear like coolers and ground tents.

That’s the industry standard. One reason is tensions in a group have destroyed many a trip;(. Luckily I’ve survived this, mostly because I was with some of my best friends.
This is great. Agreed that due to what’s going on we are also doing a lot more in state travel. Camping and seeing our state has been super exciting.

Life is good in Montana. In South Africa it'll count as a recreational vehicle and will definitely not be allowed on the road. I dig it for one day when I'm all grown up and I own a farm... 😁

Very cool setup. This is how we like to overland. Gladiator, All Missions Trailer, CanAm 1000 ATV, 12' Inflatable boat on top and the Foxwing awning with tag a long tent. We seriously looked at the 4 Wheel Campers but our cost in Canadian $$$ was just too high. Maybe some day. You folks will really enjoy that setup and the Stay-cation is a great idea. And the gun storage is a necessity!

At least get a Minelab equinox 800, does decent on small nuggets. Or go whole hog and get a new Minelab pi detector the gpx6000, does small and deep larger nuggets.

Hey! I was born and raised in MT, just gonna throw some of my favorite destinations out at ya.
Ross Creek Cedars (like the redwoods of Montana)
Jewel Basin (near Kalispell)
Wild Horse Hot springs and the surrounding area, Dog Lake, Plains (all in the same area)
Saint Ignatius
Not sure how many of these are still named those names. With increase in tourism names often get changed in MT, take Big Mountain as an example.

Clay!!!! OH yeah!!!! So good to see that rig! Puts a little tear in my eye about losing mine, but going to pick up my new truck in about a week in Idaho! Did a custom order with Ram and cant wait to build the thing out!! A few changes that i'm excited about and a few things that I will really miss from the last rig! Can't wait to watch you guys roll!!

You guys should check out the Gazelle T4 tent for your kids. Easy and fast to set up. Fit 4 people. Im 6'2 and can stand up inside.

If the boarder opens come up to Waterton Park, i am out of work this summer because of covid and have time to do some dirt biking in the area. id show you around for a day or two.
2 Questions....1) Where are all the clothes going to be stored when you have the kids and wife on your summer getaway? There was no space available that I saw or you mentioned. 2) Who gets stuck at camp when you take out Curiosity since it only seats 2?

Love my slide-in Hawk on my Power Wagon, just got back from 6 days in the Swell. So nice to get in it and everything is dust free. Speaking of dust, that Sy-Klone pre-filter is too big for a 6.7 let alone my 6.4. Went back and forth with AEV and the mfg's engineers, and AEV basically told me to shove-it. Very disappointing and will never buy a AEV product again. Wondered about lowering the tire, I also have a hook with block and tackle on my swing outs. Leather bags are a nice touch. At this point, I think a flatbed FWC or 'maybe' Bison (depends on how well he succeeds) will be in my future. Oh, and thanks for the tip on the Nite-ize Steelie's for the radio mics! Game changers!

I like your toys, or gear as you say. with that much money it just seems overkill to the max! but I want it all. maybe half is really necessary. its nice to watch and dream. the camper is necessary to me though. versatile.sometimes I gotta stop watching though. its too much. but nice to know the things out there.🤘

I loved the idea of putting ham radios in the truck, trailer, and ATV so you guys can stay in contact with each other!
A little critique: having your phone in your hand during the video gave the impression that you were texting or checking FB, etc. If you were using it for notes, that's understandable, but for the sake of being on camera and not being distracting, a clip board would be more effective/professional.

Hi guys, love your "toys" and like the set up of the ute camper. Your storage solutions are good but have to ask do you have better options for food storage, a lot of plastic wrapping on the food items, we try to unpack and leave the plastic at home in the bin. Storing in air tight containers that pack away nicely
Love the series! One suggestion would be mics as you turn away it's harder to hear you. Keep up the great projects!

I was eyeing that pretty sweet 62 Series in the XHanger. The camera was a bit out of focus, but it still looked awesome. Want to see it and the 4Runner in action soon.
