Love this list!! Ella Enchanted has been a favorite book since I listened to the audio in my fourth grade class. I'm reading The Trial right now by Lottie. I want to sneak in The Stokesley Secret before our group read in March. The Memoirs of a Highland Lady sounds amazing! I'm putting that on my Victober 2024 list.

I haven’t gotten to the rest of the series - but have you read Two are Better than One and Louly by Carol Ryrie Brink? They’re a little hard to track down but absolutely the closest kin I’ve experienced to the immortal Betsy-Tacy series.
