First listened to this album the year it was released in the winter in a cozy home with a girl I had met a few weeks before. Snow outside, we had some drinks and and smoked a bowl by the fireplace. From there we spent the next summer and winter going dancing, drive in, lake and much more. Lost touch with her by the next winter for some reason. Young and dumb I geuss. I woke up with her on my mind 3 mornings ago after 26 years only to find out she passed away 2 years ago from medical issues and apparently hadn't had a good last half. Still on my mind all these years later for some reason and listening tonight to think about her infectious smile, laugh, goofiness, beauty and great friendship as well as other fond memories. Life is short and a wierd wonderful journey. Miss ya girl and I know you are smiling and dancing wherever you are and hope we get the chance to do it again. Thanks for introducing me to this album.

I first heard this song back in the 90s on the radio. I thought it was so beautiful. I knew it was Lenny Kravitz but I didn't catch the name of the song. I remembered only a few words specifically "I got a pocket full of money" anyway couldn't find the song,. I don't recall Google being something I knew about. Time goes by... forget about the song. So a couple weeks ago I'm just scrolling through TH-cam and saw this song, I listened and Bam there it is. I'm so glad to finally find it. I've listened to it endlessly. I want to dedicate it to who I consider to be the sweetest most precious man on Earth, A.T. you will forever be in my heart and I'll continue to pray for you.

Drake, Rihanna, Adele, Timberlake, Kendrick and Bruno Mars are the few artists who make good mainstream music. but there are no stations that properly blend genres. Sometimes I'm in an r&b mood, or in an alternative funk mood (Thundercat LISTEN TO THIS BROTHER HE'S A BAD MAN), Jazzy R&b KEM, I love some Flying Lotus but i can't classify this dude ummm Ambient Extraterrestrial Mood music?? Either way great artists are out there. You don't need the radio for that.
