      How did you feel about Jordan's moves? He seems real pretty right? LOL

    I love this interview. It reminds me of the old Donnie i grew up listening to on TV and the radio. Always talking about race, politics and various societal issues in an open, honest, direct and respectful manner. Donnie was one of the few artists who did that back in the day that I listened to growing up. Whitney was one and Janet was the other. I learned about and started paying attention to the reasons why there is black (now what we can "urban") music and white music. He taught me about race and a little bit about perception and how the world operates when I was like 9 or 10. He was the reason I started having talks with my parents about such topics. Today though Donnie is much more PC in the Hollywood arena. He rarely talks about race or politics or the social problems facing the world. His Twitter feed is about about "love" and BS like that. Positivity and love is cool but it's not always realistic or authentic. This interview is the real Donnie and not the PC version we see on his social media and reality shows. I've been a longtime fan of him and NKOTB and will continue to be one. #respect

      This explains Donnie being in the boy band. Lol. He was wanting the direction of hip hop as the management wanted to run to pop.
      But peep the Lounging video of him and his brother on Leno. They had chops for that time.

    • @bluckyjones
      @bluckyjones 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tbh imo i think they are both incredible n their own wright...their brothers but they r still individuals & to compare em instead of valuing & appreciating each one for what they bring to the table...the song...the show..the movie ..whatever the case may be - i think to do that, is not giving them their credit. U can tell Donnie is super talented but more loving & leads with his heart...dont take himself too seriously & completely comfortable with who he is therefore he will fit perfectly n jus about any role hes playing..Mark has had way more major picture success n all the box office movies hes had & i think its cuz hes super serious about his craft & a bit of a perfectionist -its gotta be the best or he wld b hard on himself-over achiever & u can tell by what roles he takes on for movies most of the time...-Shooter will always be one of my top 10 movies jus cuz Mark bodied the role of a sniper & i cant even picture anyone else playin that role. Donnie havin the happy go lucky -i love everybody type personality esp with his whole fam describing him as being the brother thats the most loving & big hearted- so naturally him being able to show a wide range of emotion in roles -crying -is true to who he is so its more natural for him to display that- lucky for us :) ...But i believe we havnt seen what all Mark is capable of yet..i think the older he gets the better his acting & movies will get...i most def think he gonna push himself out his comfort zone once he relaxes with the "mogul/boss" drive hes on
      ..But bottom line u can see they both were raised in a loving household & had good respectful home training or they wldnt do as much as they do for charity's & individuals & fams that ive been reading about for years- i love that about them...cuz this world is full of selfish narcissist that are $ driven -Trump is perfect example of the opposite of these 2 men.

    My favorite movie that Donnie has done will always be Southie. His brother Robert played in the movie as well. Certain scenes in the movie with Donnie and Robert were hilarious because they are really siblings and I could just see them being like that with each other at home. Donnie has always been one of my favorite humans ever and my biggest celebrity crush of all times. I've never had the chance to meet him but I was fortunate enough to shake his amazing mom's hand at the Hampton coliseum when I was 15. She was very sweet and beautiful and kind to all of us crazy screaming girls. Donnie has her kind eyes and smile. RIP Alma! I know you are greatly missed by your family.

      He prefers steady work on tv over movies and he's been on Blue Bloods for 8 years. The show just got renewed for season 9 so that plus his other shows Donnie Loves Jenny, Boston's Finest, and New Kids On the Block takes up all his time outside of Wahlburgers. I think Donnie is a much better actor than Mark with both comedy and drama so I would love to see him do some more movies.

Pharrell & Timbaland will it do it yet again. Donnie was my guy crush then & remains my crush now because he's comfortable speaking truth about this industry.

      MzTuaka Jon b??!
      Your talking rubbish.
      Jon B was talented under the baby face reign

    • @TaylorMadeCori
      @TaylorMadeCori 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Uhm, no. Blackstreet was Teddy Riley's group. Jon B was LAFace - LA Reid and Babyface. Color Me Badd? They were straight R&B...so I dont see NKOTB anywhere in that. NKOTB may have influenced 98 Degrees and etc.....but not any R&B acts - because the R&B acts had J5 and New Edition as influences.

    • @opynmyndmum
      @opynmyndmum 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pardon me cornelia jones Backstreet Boys dear well aware of whom BLACKstreet are. My point being "blue eyed soul" began with pop music of NKOTB. Yet 98 Degrees, ColorMeBadd, Robin Thicke, Jon B. N'sync, Justin Timberlake each had R&B influences & black music producers there's my point. Hope it's clearer.

    • @opynmyndmum
      @opynmyndmum 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Matthew Tanner Jon B. like P!nk had LaFace production. I grasp that Jon B. is R&B as was P!nk when she began with LaFace. She went pop and got a far bigger following didn't she?? Justin left pop, Pharrell & Timbaland made his sound crossover. My point being artists go with what WORKS for Top40. NKOTB, JonB. NewEdition, each are still well known yet no longer Top40.

    • @TaylorMadeCori
      @TaylorMadeCori 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MzTuaka. Blue Eyed Soul did not begin with NKOTB. If you dont believe me, please research it. Wiki it. Type in the term. NKOTB, as talented as they are...did not blaze the trail for Blue Eyed Soul artists. You would have to go back at least 50 years. Look it up. You might find something new, in something old. And I say that with all seriousness...

    I love how Sway asks him "Noone ever tried to beat you up, hey whiteboy,..." etc etc. Example of how black on white violence is expected, talked about freely, like the weather. This country has become a pathetic petri dish for reverse racism and social hypocricacy.

      Jonathan Wright there is no such thing as "reverse racism"

    • @jonathanwright8802
      @jonathanwright8802 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When Sway asks him if anyone has tried to beat him up because he's a white guy doing black-ish music, that implies that there is racism. Whether or not it's reverse, who cares, but it's racism, and it's treated on this show like they're just talking about the weather.

    This guy 's the original people always remember mark wahllburg but Donnie is the reason he made it big. If it wasn't for donnie Wahlburg Mark would still be throwing rocks at people and doing stupid shit. Yet people only know about Mark Wahlburg. Not taking away from Mark I definitely like some his movies.

      Does it make it easier for you to like them and put them on a pedestal thinking that they created and pioneered all that shit by themselves? I'm sure it does. Too bad. Donnie's doing what most white people find difficult- being humble and giving credit where credit is due.
