- Took the car for a drive. Turned the car off. Parked it for a little bit. AFTER getting back, tried to start it. It wouldn't crank. Checked the headlights. Jumped it. It makes a clicking noise coming from the starter or relay. Just one faint click. THE battery was GOOD because everything else worked...had to check the relays. Fuses....

Pls name your video starter issue fixed. I just wasted 11 mins trying to figure out a no crank no start issue. And try to keep your narrative to a minimum. Get to the point. Thanks

Same thing happened to my ford Expedition 2008 just today. No sound when I try to start the truck, good thing I was still at the house. Was yours fixed after you replaced the starter?

Same happened to me just didnt start we thought it was the starter than that wasn't it then we tried ignition switch nope..so we checked grounds, fuses, still nothing so now I'm having it towed to a ford dealership so they can reset the computer module crossing fingers

If you have a spare key use it. I had the same issue. I used the spare key and it stsrted. Other key may not be be disabling the immobilzer because of a dead key fob battery. Not 100% sure but using the spare key worked for me. A real head scrathcher for me that lasted 2 days. Boosts, switching batteries, check evrerything but spare key.
