Hello from Europe. Romania. Timișoara city. Love you're reviews, but why you don't mention more details about the engines. Power numbers, torque, consumption, gear box etc?

On my reviews I try to fill in what the spec sheet doesn't tell you. I can blend some more of those details in, but for the most part, I assume that people who are interested in these machines before they see my videos, will have visited the website, and to those who find out about these machines through my videos, I encourage them to check out the website and spec sheets. All of the information that you're asking for is readily available in just a few clicks, so for that reason, I don't cover everything. Also, to cover everything that every viewer would want to see, it would be an hour long video. What you'll see me do in the future is do specific videos on JUST the engines, or JUST the suspensions, and it's in those videos that I can cover some of the specs, but also flesh out why certain specs will make a difference to certain types of riders.

You are wrong about the 900 ACE being the right engine. The sled weigh almost 600lbs dry, curb weight is around 660lbs, fill up the 62L luggage and you just added 30-50lbs. So now you are at 700lbs +, add snow and ice stuck to it, 5 to 10lbs. And then passengers (500lbs+, snow suit, helmet, ...). Now that you know that you have over 1200LBS loaded machine, how does the 90HP sounds? This machine is not made for off trail, but have you redden the trail in NB/QC? The trails are not on flat ground and some of the hill are pretty steep and long. The minimum hp for the GT should be the turbo 130hp. No one would ever buy a 80/90 hp Honda Goldwing!

PS, I replied on my wife PC so it look like she wrote this.... I have been snowmobiling for over 40 years, I worked at 3 different motorcycle/snowmobile shops, owned snowmobile from the 4 manufactures. And do all the work on them. Marc

I don't have an issue with your reasoning. My whole point is that I used to drive CARS with that much horsepower and less. So while many people will agree with you (including me at times) I would say that you don't need the extra power if you don't intend to ride this aggressively. I love that there are options.
