Glad I found your channel, I felt like I was the only one who have been craving a good necromancy game for decades. Nothing has really fulfilled my necromancy itch. Necromancy is such a great concept that is rarely used for some reason. Besides the undead horde concept, there are a ton of cool concepts like reanimating an enemy and turning them into your loyal dog with all their skills/abilities/intelligence (closest is skyrim where you can them back with their skills), another cool features is turning remains into a wide selection of undead like you can do in DND with the create undead spell(skeletons, ghouls, vampires, death knights, wraiths, shadows...etc). Or the concept binding souls to items to create intelligent items, or crafting weapons/Armour/artifacts from the remains of your enemies to create items that have the special traits or powers of the creature your crafted from. Wish I had the skill to create my own games.
Thanks Ben, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. If I ever get rich, I'd like to fund my own necromancy game. Maybe after a lifetime of saving up, that'll become possible. I've often thought about ways on how to achieve that goal and spent a lot of time in high school trying to make games and hit plenty of brick walls. Always either a lack of time, motivation or expertise. I think a simple roguelike would probably be the easiest way to make a game because art & sound assets wouldn't be a huge factor. Modding can be another "easy" way just because you don't have to build an entire game, the foundations are already there.
you can just use cheat codes to upgrade your summons! works with traditional summons too! you summon the same creater every time so upgraded minions stay the same
Well I see that I found a channel thats about necromancy in video games...this is good, vary good. I would want to make a suggestion about your "about" and that would be to say that you are indeed a channel about video game necromancy. Anyway I'd have to wonder what other necromancy related Content you will make, maybe divinity original sin 1 and 2?
Thank you sir. Yes, in fact I already made a video on a nice necromancy mod for Divinity Original Sin 2. As for other necromancy content, well, I'll be making a lot. I'll mostly cover games and mods but I'll also occasionally do world-building videos and maybe soon some DnD stuff as well.
@@chebgonaz ooh..uh i made a little typo concerning then "about" part, i was referring to the section of your channel page that details what your channel is about, i just think that it would help people understand what you focus on, god knows we need more necromancer games, and i'm still sad Nekro didn't make it. also DnD would be a perfect thing to cover for necromancy, so many homebrew things for is as well as the 5th Ed of the rulebook which i will say lets you have an army at really high levels but you will need to sacrifice a bunch of spell slots to maintain that army, so its up to you how you see that, ether way a DnD necromancer is not too weak on their own but are devastating when they have a horde. again only if your into DnD and love to play it, it would be a way to broaden your viewers IMO
Yes I'd like to do some DnD videos eventually but first I must learn a lot more about it in general. BTW I updated my about page. Hopefully that worked
