- A smashing walk from the tourist village of Tintagel on the Cornish coast...on this walk we visit Tintagel castle, the coast path to Trebarwith strand before heading inland walking along quiet country lanes.then it's back to the coast path via Rocky valley, returning to Tintagel vis Barras nose..classic Cornish walking

Oh my, all kinds of cliffs for me to stay clear of! lol Now that's a great place to be for holidays for sure!! Well, I guess someone has to carry the pack!! LOL My goodness, the stone work is absolutely marvelous along the creek. Scenically superb...that describes if for sure! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!

This brought back some great memories for us. We did the SWCP a few years ago. The inland area we didn’t see looked as good as the coast. Enjoyed the film 👍

The coastline down there is just so beautiful 😊 gorgeous views looking out to sea and fab weather. That did look a giant shark 😅 haha and the stone walls are very beautiful think they make the countryside look so nice.

Lovely weather for a wander, Stephen - hopefully it will be the same in July when we're down there. I think I was about 14 when I last visited Tintagel.

Wonderful day for a coastal walk! Great views along the way, and fabulous rock walls- wow! They're beautiful and have been there so long! Nice finds along the way like the bronze carving. Fun place for a holiday!

Beautiful walk Steven and your glamorous assistant Karen. Nice up and down route (bit like life really), and that cottage for rent would suit me so well. It had great views and atmosphere and hopefully I’d not see a soul for weeks on end. Yes a very nice film this well done to you both.👍

Ah you made it to our beloved Cornwall. My alarm is Kim snoring 😂 what a glorious day you had for it. That part of the coast is just awesome. And the walls are indeed top notch. Each area has its own style 👍🏻. We have walked this a few times and never tire of it. We are back to Cornwall in a few weeks. The path is either up or down. We have eaten in the strand 👍🏻. Rocky valley is amazing. And no they are not Bronze Age. 😂. A bench with a view. You looked like you had a lot of fun. Karen forging ahead as usual. Tintagel can be disappointing as the ruins are er un impressive. However it had to be done when in the area. 😂😂 we have been on the Land river. Years ago. Pint 🍺. Love it. Great video guys. We would love t go to Cornwall but the drive always puts me off (I do all the driving) but if we ever did go, the first place I would want to go is Tintagel, it looks amazing and 9 miles would be Mrs Metalmans limit now I think. Great weather and that pit stop looked just the business and as regard s a coastal and inland walk that looked real nice. Well deserved pint at the end, especially on a hot day, cheers Alan
It is a long drive Alan, i believe it took us around 6 hours to get back...would be a lot longer for you....we had a great holiday, a few more videos to come from our week.
Tintagel days are great but the knights are even better 😁. I agree with you Steve, fantastic! Great weather, beautiful scenery and not too busy. Perfect.

Love that statue of the knight. I don’t know who it’s supposed to be, but it looks awesome. Yup, I’m one of those people from America who always comment on those old stone walls. What do you mean you’re not going to the pub? You feeling okay? Cool rock carvings. A great sunny day too. Okay you redeemed yourself with the pint at the end. 👍34.

Really was something else ... Brilliant...I am with you on the Bronze age markings, though it did suggest but no...The herring bone stone walling although more common in Cornwall and Devon is not unique there...Lyme park has got herring bone and I restored a wall there at the original gatehouse 40 years ago in that style, but I did have to research in the library the correct way to replicate it...enough now...this is about you and Karen's holiday and it is fantastic...views to envy and great narration and filming ...Cheers Les 🙂👍

Loved Tintagel - That sculpture is something else. So are the views down.... Pure workmanship those walls too.... May not be bronze age those drawings, but interesting for sure.. That hike back up the hill is a killer...at least you didn't get the land rover taxi

Sorry to hear that you have cancelled your Cornish trip...but on the plus side all those JBP would have played havoc with your blood pressure....i agree about the legs Karen's are far nicer than mine..she has the legs of Eric and i have the legs of Ernie [ Short ,fat and hairy ]...thanks so much for the 6 stars...i am humbled
