Alright folks, the deck is well met paladin. The goal of the deck is to use our "Greetings" emote to say "WELL MET!"
I can't wait to open mordresh and build a reno deck where I just type "hero Power" and add literally every card
It's all fun and games till the opponent hears "Do not fear power... Fear those who wields it..."
You should add Baku and Genn in the same deck, it would work perfectly

I went 52-8 to Diamond 2 in Asia with a version of this deck; When I get Legend, I'm thinking of celebrating with some Even DH of my own creation :D

Awwww, that's kinda adorable! I thought the apprentice was gonna be the move firing the hero power but with the animation/voicline it's supposed to be that he realizes he's in over his head and so you (as the mage he is the apprentice to) have to fire at all the enemies!

In another video I saw that if you have a non-targeting hero power, Reckless Apprentice just hero powers once for each enemy (it was used in a combo with Finley to get hunter HP, upgrade that with Daring Fire eater, play Reckless and blast opponent's face for damage per enemy). I wonder if that could be useful with some HP alterations - like new quest reward HP. Also would be interesting to know if it even works with passive HPs like Reno HP, and I wonder if Major Domo-Ragnaros' HP actually blasts each enemy, or if a random enemy is blasted per enemy around. So much fun stuff to try out.
I can confirm the Ragnaros from Majordomo interaction works, lost to a mad lad who used that plus bran to kill me at 20 health after 2 wildfires. Had I been at 30, they could have killed me with a hero power. It was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.

I'm running a Reno Hero Power Mage, Reckless Apprentice while you are Frost Lich is really good, once generated 6 Water Elementals on some poor unsuspecting Pally, if your really greedy you can hold onto Wildfire for the DK and it will upgrade that Hero Power.

to roffles,i think the people asking about potion of illusion were stuck on standard and mordresh clunky combo... but for your deck I would say you could potion hero the ice dude and your aprentice

I've been running an Even Reno mage lately and it's a lot of fun
Last night I happened to play against someone on my friends list in ranked and they were playing even Reno (new) c’thun mage. It was super interesting so it’s funny that you posted even mage today lol

I’ve been playing a really similar deck in wild and I haven’t lost a game to any slow decks. It’s frost jaina, hero power freeze deck. It’s worked really well so far but if you get bad draws it’s punishing for tempo
Now this was the deck I was looking forward to seeing in wild with the new Barrens cards

Just went up against a super cool rogue Mecha’thun deck, I think you should try it
It made mechathun a 1/1/1 with ankha, then used the 1/1/3 weapon with “deathrattle: give your minions rush” plus the hero power to give it rush, and used secret passage to empty their hand once their deck was empty

Even Mage isn't a bad idea. I just went with a normal deck because I love the Reckless Apprentice with Frost Lich Jaina's hero power.

10:58 so I just tried that, and you never guess what happened.
You know how normally, because Genn is in the deck, your hero power costs (1) at the start of the game? Well, I added Janalai, and it disabled Genn!
I thought it might've been a one-time bug, so I tried another game. Same thing; Baku didn't trigger. I tried seven (7!) games like that, and all the same result!
So, I think putting in Janalai the Dragonhawk makes your deck not consist entirely of even cards at the start of the game. Very interesting!

This was a the first deck I crafted when the expansion dropped, but I went for a freeze package just for more Varden synergy. Shame the Apprentice and Icewalker don't work how I thought they should.

@@alexblood9423 I guess it's going off of Blade Flurry logic, the difference I think is Blade Flurry specifically mentions a weapon's attack power. But in terms of Mordesh it counts as dealing hero power damage. Ice Walker still has its synergies though, as roffle mentions.

I swear I saw no new decks yesterday on ladder, I saw lots of Reno and big priest some quest Rouges, but not much else
It was surprisingly easy to get Mordresh online. Now you have to play LPG hero power mage to BRANN MORDRESH.
The hard part was keeping my opponent alive long enough to play him...

Should I craft genn to try this list? I know genn is a general safe craft but I'm not really interested in any other even decks so not sure if it's worth it or not
Do you have giants and support? If yes, you have two different versions of Even Mage that you can try. If no, maybe reconsider since this deck may not be good enough although it is too soon to say for sure.

What about old legendary that upgrades your hero power (forgot the name, 6/3 for 6 mana)? It is even also and have synergy with this deck

Huh didnt know my fav deck got another card for the collection.
There is a bug with silver leaf poison and kingsbain, even though i used it one time it apllied it multiple times evey time i played kingsbain and for some reason gave my hero power weapon the same effect, i drew 4 cards with my hero power weapon even though i only have 1 silver leaf poison and applied it to kingsbain
Potion of Illusion + Coldarra Drake can get really silly in Even Mage.
It’s pretty slow tho. Unless you have a board advantage, your just playing an ogre on turn 10

Daring Fire Eater, the 3 mana draw a card after killing an enemy, and the 3 mana +2 hero power damage minion are the ones I can think of

I once use Grizzled Wizard+ sir finley combo on turn 5, but that even mage already deal 10 damage with HP. Fire eye is so disgusting.
Can you play a non even deck with every hero power card? (Like jan'alai and fire eater)

If you use the minion that makes your hero power freeze the reckless apprentice battlecry will not froze anything. Is an oversight I hope they fix it.
