  • The baths were built in 1921 and the first english woman to swim the english channel trained here. Featuring two pools, for women and for men the baths closed in 2016 despite fierce protests from local residents over there closure.

Just like the baths we learned to swim at from primary school in the 1960s - coal-powered with adjacent wash house.

@@Cryptic_Ghost really sorry but unless I show an entry point in a video, which will be because it’s soooo wide open it’s obvious, I won’t give access points out. It’s not personal but more because I don’t know you or any other person that may read this and some places are really dangerous and I’d hate for someone I’d given a location to to get hurt because they weren’t prepared for the risk.
What I will say is that part if the fun is finding the entry points, unobvious doors and windows can sometimes be open, keep trying them if your exploring. For this location the entry was fairly easy to find with a good bit of looking so possibly it’s been sealed up now?

Why? It's not as if you have to fear for drowning anymore, over there!
Maybe it's due to the color theming of this type of establishment. It's similar to hospitals or clinics when you think about it. These places were dedicated to cleansing in spirit, so seeing them dirty and messy can seem out of place, almost alien.
