Love the tutorial! One question: how did you make the particles glow when moving quickly (as in the second example render) - thanks again for putting this together.
I'm glad you like it! After the simulation, I colored with VOPs, using the velocity as Color(Connect V into Cd output, with a ramp in between), as they get crazy velocity when the letters change. Then in Redshift material, after importing the color attribute I added a ramp, crashed the values so only the points with high velocity are visible and connected into emission, and added some glow on Emission AOV in post. I hope that helps!
Can't tell without checking the files. Try to download the project file from the link in the description and compare it with yours, maybe it will help.
@@FX_MesropHovhannisyan actually it was my mistake ..instead of reducing the particle separation I reduced the voxel size. Thank you so much. Great effort from your side.
That was one of the best free houdini tutorials I've ever seen! Thanks a lot!
Thanks! Happy to hear that ;)
The emission shader tapering off would have been nice to see.
Great tutorial. Picked up a couple tricks from it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dima! I'm glad you found it useful :)
yeah, I actually never knew about selecting two nodes and option dragging on the output to automatically form a merge node connecting the two.
@@vger2 Yeah, Alt+dragging gives you a merge, very satisfying thing to do :)
Thank You very much, Mesrop!
Thanks for your feedback!

Tut please 😢. Awesome vid thank u🎉
youtube compression doesnt do the effect justice whatsoever.
if you get the 1080p footage and scale it up to 4K, uploading it to youtube stops the compression
Hello there. What is the reason why my render screen turns black?
Hi, could be few things.
16:00 - Did you double-check if you are rendering them as particles?
@@FX_MesropHovhannisyan yes i created it as a particle. i'm new at work and i can't find it
@@denizhurma3127 It's hard to tell what step you might have been missed without looking at your file.
the pscale thing wont work, iv done it like 10 times deleted and came back and i cant get it to work.... any ideas what might be wrong?

thank you !!!
You're welcome!
im getting only a few particles, particles seperation doesnt make a difference no matter how low I go. any thoughts ?
Did you change the separation both in the source and flip object?

@@CharlesPrithviRaj Glad it worked for you!
More Tutorial for houdini and focus on fluid and whitewatr please
Thanks, will keep that in mind.
Someone please make this in Blender also 😭😭
I'm not using blender yet:)
