- We have another go at a relay race, this time though we have a team limit of 2000 Pi which has to be spread over all 4 of your teams vehicles.

I was just going to say that
Having an F1 car is a no brainer. Their PI might say 999, but it's actually somewhere around 1100-1200, Forza just doesn't display anything above 999, so essentially you get 100-200 free PI.
You should try this without X class, The cars in that class technically are higher than 999, so green and orange technically had well above 2000P if Forza's X class was measured the same a E though P. I think it could be a lot closer if done that way.

Not balanced, cars prices have literally nothing to do with their performance, there would be one or two dominating cars sets...
That's a really cool take on multi-class racing. Great to see different strategies and good racing. That final corner on Sonoma with the 2 f1 cars trading paint as they go side by side around it looks absolutely awesome as well

next relay 1 truck or usv 1 cheap car 1 racecar or very expensive and 1 E class car

You could add a price restriction, brand restrictions, type restrictions (hot hatch, super car, muscle car etc.), engine restrictions, power restrictions, year restrictions, any thing you've used as an added restriction in vs. Community.

Holy crap orange team's F1 car sounds phenomenal!
That's 1980s F1 for you. The formula was pretty similar to today's turbo V6, only more insane as the power could reach well over 800 hp.

I think at a small track with low passing opportunities, running three C class cars is the best idea whereas at a large track like Yas Marina with a very long lap the F1 cars can make up the most time because the differential between cars is the largest

You should try a rally race where you only do one lap of a circuit. Then each set of cars gets a piece of track to specialize for. So you can choose where to put all your fast cars, straights, curves, etc.
hey, what abouth a relay challenge per manufacturer or country. so for example you have 2000 PI, Team 1 goes with Mercedes (or Germany), Team 2 goes with Ford (or America), Team 3 goes with Jaguar (or the UK) and Team 4 goes with Ferrari (or Italy). Would be fun to see.

The F1 route should be a no brainer since the PI value display peaks at 999, but the F1 cars essentially have much higher PI then that, they might be well in 1300 or so, hence the total PI will be actually way above 2000 if you use an F1 car

You should do an review on the Ferrari FXX K
Each team should have one stock hypercar, one C class or lower hatch back, one b class 4wd car, and a D class Fwd vehicle.
You don't really get to see the speed of the F1 cars until you see them compared to those lower class cars... they are butt clenchingly fast!
How about by countries and car class( eg. Van, Hypercar, SUV etc)? Loose idea but maybe you could apply some Failrace magic :)

You should different years of cars. For example, some of the years of the mustang. It would be cool to see that
I have a crazy idea: Relay racing with 2 wheeleing Fiats and 2 front flipping Escorts
This is great, but I feel that strategies would be a bit more balanced if race cars were banned, so that for a super fast car a team would be looking at a 800pi S class, which likely has less racing 'value' than a 999pi X 'race car.' That would be some balance for the teams that chose to use four 500pi C classers. Personally, I'd love to see some A and E class composition teams.
the problem with this is cars such as f1 cars and indy cars all have 999 pi, but the performance can be miles apart. another example is a lmp1 car with 998 can be 4 or 5 seconds a lap slower than an f1 car with 999 pi

I think X class cars should be banned as their PI exceeds 999 but it is capped for the sake of the game, maybe P and E class cars would be closer to a group of C class cars.
X-class cars give you free PI because they are all stuck at 999, but some are much faster than others, thus you gain free PI
These look so much fun. How easy are they to set up?
Is it simple as get 16 players, pick a track, at least 2 laps?
I'd like to see this done with two laps per car and relay-racers finished with their stint being allowed to block the road for their competitors.

If you're planning on doing this again, maybe change the rules up a bit, so you have unlimited PI to play with, but maybe for every 5 PI under 2000 you get a 1 second headstart and for every 5 over, you get a 1 second penalty.
I'm not sure how accurate my system is, but maybe you can tweak it a bit :)

The X-class cars seem like the best choice. You basically get some free PI because the PI scale tops out at 999 while the F1 cars are just much quicker than the cars that are 1 PI lower. So really their PI should be higher but it isn't. Next time maybe ban X-class cars?
Relay: 1 Le Mans, 1 GT, 1 Touring car, 1 supercar or sports car. Total 3000-3500 PI to spend.

if green and orange team did not crash into each other at Sonoma they would have probably have catched blue and white team by the end of the race.
Should do country vs country or car maker vs car maker with a PI restriction. Might wanna ban X class because PI stops at 999 and a fully upgraded Lotus F1 could have well over 1k

Have you tried an elimination race yet. Every lap the last one is eliminated. All have the same car.
at 19:36 the blue teams escort flipped and rolled as the S2000 started to go for it's lap
I am surprised you did not start with the formula one car. yes it can overtake the other cars easily but wouldn't it make more sense to give it a traffic free lap to make the most of its speed?
racecar relay the can only drive racecars (doesnt matter witch series rally, cup cars,f1 doesnt matter) 2000pi limit
