A big thing that I have noticed in my 70+ games is that most often the winning team has a barrage. Even if the only thing they do is use their overdrive on triceratops, it speeds things along by such a massive amount it even won me some games when we were quite far behind. A good barrage can carry most encounters as they can deal as much damage as even a vigilant
I've clutched a few games with barrages overdrive. If used in the right moment it can turn the tide of a match. If used poorly it's barely even noticeable.
another mistake: when your the team behind or when your team is given a dominator, don’t shotgun it right away, wait till either the enemy team uses theirs or you hit that moment where you need the enemy team to focus a different direction.
Best moment to use dominator is when the enemy is fighting another big Dino. Also triceratops is hands down the best dominator because it can execute a drive by. Really hard agree on #3 & 4 !!! As a Muramase main for tank, I cry everytime! Point defense, the game literally tells you the more you are on it, the faster it goes(same for Data keys!) I just dont get why you would go out of the Area when the Dinos will just come to you! For Data keys, since I play Zephyr sometime, I do stray out of the Data keys to backstab the enemy(Always fun to surprise them)! Also, cool for the discord! I might come and see for people for Exoprimal but always scared of toxic players inside communities! Keep up the good work!
I cannot wait to have proper fully PvE modes available, the Gauntlet mode I hope will just be absolutely nuts and a blast to play. I wish they'd at least tell me when I'm about to be forced into PvP during a match, because selecting PvE mode at the moment doesn't stop the PvP end missions at all. Many of the story missions are forced PvP, and it would be great to be told somewhere that PvP is being forced at the end so I can save my Overdrive
-As a healer main, If you're a roadblock, or murasame or zephyr, please play smart and don't overextend yourself. Stay aware of where your healers and group are, because good healers will get fed up and not chase you.
The murasame tip is spot on. The only time I've gotten mad in this game is when I run ahead of the team purposely to get my counter off and they nuke or pull the agro. In my third game learning him it happen three times in a row I felt like a wet napkin.
the amount of times a new wave spawns or when I just jump into a giant group to get muramasa counter charged up just to see all the dinosaurs die by every ability from my team triggers me to no end. Like you lose out on so much damage all charged up he essentially becomes 2 classes in one.
God, the Murasame part hits me as he is my main. I don't know how many times i have tried to get the counter, like i even wait for the team to use their cc to counter, but they don't. Then the moment i press the button everyone goes ham
Yeah I remember a team where I requested a support since my Murasame was almost at lvl 16. No one changed there suit and we lost. It's probably my fault as well for not switching to support cause I just wanted to get Murasame to lvl 16. Always gotta be a team player
4 point support muramase. My team muramase "leroy jenkins!, yolo!". Die to normal raptor spawn away from whole team, so either I heal the team taking care of the actual dino which matters or help the guy who basically should have gone dps. Another thing randoms ignore is the count shown on top of screen of which dinos to focus and how many are needed to progress to next objective. 😢
That's how you know that person has been forced to play with continually unsupportive teams lol, they're going out of their way to try and activate their counter (but also being a derp because I'd your team isn't supporting you, change exos)
If i am a melee exosuit or one that struggles to hit air/deal with large crowds, then i will focus my efforts on keeping other threats like snipers or hoards away from my team so said team can kill what i struggle to. Example: playing vigilant and killing snipers while my team focuses on a swarm. Playing murasame/barrage/zephyr and killing the swarm so my team can focus down the flying neosaurs that i cant hit reliably
@@wolfwarrior1176 though I'd note some other classes are also just as good (if not better) at killing snipers too because of their huge crit spots. Barrage and crit-specced nimbus downs them in about the same time vig can get a 1-2 crit snipe on the snipers.
@@sinteleon thats if they can get to em easily. Typically the barrage is focused on the big boys or the hoard. Nimbus i havent used but i assume the same applies to her. Usually the vigilant is the only one who can reliably kill em as soon as they spawn.
Just had a match when we had one roadblock and two deadeye. only once i pulled a successful counter, i was forced to switch i wasn't doing enough damage with him
Murasame's crescent moon should force dinos to focus him for a longer period of time or something. Its borderline imposible to be in a match without a deadeye, witchdoctor or roadblock that just dont care about your counter or just dont see you due the amount of mayhem on screen.
If you’re murasame or zephyr don’t stay in the middle of Dino hordes the whole time you’re not invincible and it makes it that much harder for a squishy support healer to get to heal you
#5 Don't que for "random" if you clearly don't want to PvP and just shoot the Dinos and let your team die. #6 use the Hammer at 100% and STOP KILLING MOBS (looking at my Murasame one tricks, which totaly ignore Pings + Voice Comms)
Heres a mistake that happens often. Well two actually. 1. Not reviving dead teammates when its safe to do so. 2. Healers focusing more on attacking than healing.
I play witch doctor, and my whole strategy is to keep everyone’s health up at all times. I focus secondly on attacking. You can’t make any progress when your team of barrages are all dead. Lol!
hitting level 110 here. That's the problem sometimes with randoms, got multiples parties where there were 2 roadblocks, or multiple witchdoctors or too many of the same class. you already know unless the other parti got worse team comp that you will loose
Roadblock, Murasame, even Zephyr I feel like are the best exo suits to carry a team since they can do so much by themselves and I sometimes equip the healing rig for when the healer just ain't it. Regardless though, a better team comp that's playing together will always be faster than just one exo
bout samurai (i refuse to call him anything else) yes he has big carry potential, but then again as point 4. if he is not allowed to be enabled then he is just standing there doing nothing. so his carry is from spot to spot wen the other 2 have carry potential in all the time
What I dislike about the game is that there isn't any real tutorial or guide for people who are new to the game. Its frustrating to play with new players who are struggling to understand the point of the game too. I met with a couple of players while I was playing murasame tank, it was the cube push at the last round and cube push requires literally only 3 person on it to push it at the max speed. They were flaming and all when I push up to clear the raptors asap so it will be easier telling me to get back to the cube to push. Had to just use my mic to personally tell them that it only requires 3 but for some reason they couldn't handle the corrections like their ego was on the line and still decided to continue flaming.
I've lost count of the times when I'm already playing support and two guys on the team just switch to support mid-battle out of nowhere, I'm like "what?! why did you do that? the team composition was so good :("
Pay attention to which dinosaurs you have to kill to progress. Sometimes I see the team killing raptors for no reason when the last objective is to kill a sniper or an exploder.
As a avid Murasame main I couldn’t have appreciated your advice more. There have been countless instances of me using crescent slash to pull aggro confirming it them using vajra counter only for a deadeye to nuke the Dino’s around me or a witch doctor/vigilant/sky wave to electrocute, freeze, or black hole them, and then, because I pulled aggro, I get swarmed by the other thousands of Dino’s in the arena and am basically a sitting duck for ten seconds while I try to fend them off.
I feel that with the team composition sometimes I'll try to level up specific tanks but the other 4 players on my team all are deadeyes and don't switch off to a healer I'm not gonna switch off because I'm trying to level up Vigilant and I don't care about winning if it's with another tank, so when our whole team keeps dying and nobody switches to a healer it really makes you wonder what people think is the cause of them losing
Worse when it's the specific scenario you mentioned: you're tank, the other 4 are DPS, and no one wants to switch to support (you can't because you are already tank...) Though tbf, I have won before without a dedicated support (3 of us used aid modules, I was tank mura, so we had a LOT of DPS.)
@@sinteleon tbh, depending on what is the PvE objective, I'd say Tank is the lower priority role. It's compulsory for PvP though. Winning PvP without a Tank is ridiculously difficult unless the enemy team is really bad. I've done games with 2 Supports and 3 Ranged DPS (Witchdoctor was our 'tank') and won. I've done 4 DPS where the Zephyr 'tanks' and I Heal and I've even seen some god forbid 4 Deadeye 1 Nimbus comp that was on par with our speed of a normal 3 DD, 1 Tank, 1 Support comp in the Volcanic area. But eventually trashed them in the PvP which forced them to swap off for a Tank.
Witch Doctor main and i gotta disagree with the 4th "mistake" it should be support your team not support just the one player cause they picked a high damage class ive lost a few matches cause the murasame got near suicidal with their dps regardless of how much i healed them and left the team to crowd control swarms to no avail. Additionally, Mistake 5 SUPPORT THE FRIGGIN HEALER!!!! now im aware this may seem contradictory but what i mean is that while your team is out dealing with threats make sure you or one other team member sticks with the healer so they arent left alone getting swarmed by dinos and are actually able to do the thing they are there to do which is heal the team when they need it
Mura gets the occasional heal field from me and I go back to supporting other people/lanes. If they somehow die with heal field that's on them. :P (not going to babysit when I shouldn't be using parashock near them...)
As a murasame main, i must say, please let us just be that little bit crazy...yes we actually have a plan. Just let us fill up that doughnut of damage..after that fking go all out
I feel barrage needs an ult nerf, 2 barrage ults instantly kill a rex dominator which, while funny, is extremely unfair for the side that used the dominator and it happens all the time. Ive done it to people and people have done it to me, barrage op
As a murasame main i have already loose Hope, team Will not let you charge in crowd 90% of times, becouse they Just care about doing their personal score
If i see that theres like 3 tanks i wait to see if they change, if not then i leave. Not playing a game thats going to be miserable to play. i dont really understand why people do that.
I really like exoprimal, i do have some skill but my strategy is just -999 points, hey look! Pteranadons! *uses melee character clearly not made to fight air targets*
Team Right now can be argued tho. I have 176 matches so far. Myself and some friends literally went on a winning spree of almost 23 matches with 3 Deadeyes a Nimbus, a Witchdoctor, and a Murasame. Altho everynow and then we switch out suits for the ultimates. Also I still find it extremely stupid how the more you win the more the game handicaps you. We had a match where we had lvl 3 dinos the whole match. During the final wave the lvl dropped and the other team re appplied them 😂
People don't care about winning 🤷🏿♂️...they want to see their name on the "leaderboard" or as MVP with the top score....the game stats don't drive teamwork...if you got more points for staying on obj than you do for killing dinos...people would stay on the obj...in theory..
At the end of the day, just have fun. There is no punishment or reward(except a very very small exp boost) for winning or losing. Yes I am one of those players that will play whatever class I want regardless if there’s already that class in the group or if my class can’t do anything. I’m on a mission to level up all my suits and anyone who’s against that simply has to adapt, or not, just have fun. I really enjoying the game, sure I piss off a lot of people, but what are you going to do about it?
If you're not gonna play as a team why play a team based game.. idk how you have fun being the one person ruining it for everybody else. We like working together , that's why we playing this game where we gotta do that. We'd like to win as a team but we gotta adapt to your fuck up and work harder just to potentially lose cause we were worried bout you. School project of 4 , and we all working overtime to do the PowerPoint that you chose not to do cause you're having fun not doing shit contributing.
When I get into a game and see 3 Assaults and a sniper I know we losing lol Plz just work with me! I can’t be a tank and a healer😭 I try hard to be a team player and play what we need so at least do the same for the team lol
My biggest complaint is supporters not doing their job, you see we’re dying yet you’re off to the left trying to take out Dino’s instead of staying with your team and keeping their health up. Stop playing support if you’re not gonna play the character how it’s meant to be played.
Thank you for the Murasame tip. Theres been many matches, going solo or with friends, where randoms will not let me or my buddy get the counter buff going. Which slows everything down.

I hope the braid dead teams i get, see this, Thank you for posting actually good clips and info on the game😊😊
My discord is specifically moderated too keep out toxic people.
@@HDHaZmY Thats good to know! I'll check it out then! Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR TIP #4 ! ! !
I main Murasame, and with it 4/5 of the time, I'm CARRYING the whole team. He's the only one I ever get mvp with as well
I cannot wait to have proper fully PvE modes available, the Gauntlet mode I hope will just be absolutely nuts and a blast to play.
After switching to PVE the only PVP mission u get is charging hammer sometimes. For me.
-As a healer main, If you're a roadblock, or murasame or zephyr, please play smart and don't overextend yourself. Stay aware of where your healers and group are, because good healers will get fed up and not chase you.
Curious to hear your tips on 3-point Control. I know you prefer PvE but this mode always feels like a mess lol
Yeah I figure that with the tower defense zone so I started to tell my teammates to stay in the zone!!!
Everyone always ignores sniper neosaurs and stegosaursuses. Everyone hates murasames. Everyone loves to leave the zones.
So for #4 I should adjust the way I play and not control the battlefield with roadblock and cater to off dps
Just had a match when we had one roadblock and two deadeye. only once i pulled a successful counter, i was forced to switch i wasn't doing enough damage with him
That murasame mistake is so true lol, if there a witchdoctor or a barrage in your team you better change your character because they gonna f*** u up
Murasame's crescent moon should force dinos to focus him for a longer period of time or something. Its borderline imposible to be in a match without a deadeye, witchdoctor or roadblock that just dont care about your counter or just dont see you due the amount of mayhem on screen.
If you’re murasame or zephyr don’t stay in the middle of Dino hordes the whole time you’re not invincible and it makes it that much harder for a squishy support healer to get to heal you
Man after watching I had to sub. I’m lvl 87 but man these are good some tips for new people.
I wish more people could see these videos, it would spare some salt. 😂
2. Healers focusing more on attacking than healing.
by 2 you referring to nimbus I suppose
Facts I see way to often skywave and nimbus going for kills rather than healing it’s so annoying
I play witch doctor, and my whole strategy is to keep everyone’s health up at all times. I focus secondly on attacking. You can’t make any progress when your team of barrages are all dead. Lol!
@@abhinavjain8672 nimbus and skywave. Like cmon i am right here near death and you cant shoot me for the 1 second it would take to heal me?
hitting level 110 here.
Regardless though, a better team comp that's playing together will always be faster than just one exo
bout samurai (i refuse to call him anything else) yes he has big carry potential, but then again as point 4. if he is not allowed to be enabled then he is just standing there doing nothing. so his carry is from spot to spot wen the other 2 have carry potential in all the time
Look i ended up in a meme match where my whole team was tanks. 2 roadblocks, 2 kreiger, and a murasame.
We won. 3 of us has the heal rig
5. Running around or away from the support when you need healing. And then getting mad when you're wiped.
Had to just use my mic to personally tell them that it only requires 3 but for some reason they couldn't handle the corrections like their ego was on the line and still decided to continue flaming.
on the last one, I tend to immediately switch to assault when I see them but "sometimes", they tend to make it worse for everyone.
Yeah Murasame is a hard exosuit, so it's understandable not everyone is a pro with it!
I've lost count of the times when I'm already playing support and two guys on the team just switch to support mid-battle out of nowhere, I'm like "what?! why did you do that? the team composition was so good :("
We need role queue like Overwatch.
Randos need to know their place and their role and commit to it.
Pay attention to which dinosaurs you have to kill to progress. Sometimes I see the team killing raptors for no reason when the last objective is to kill a sniper or an exploder.
PS players need to kill 100k dinos for platinum achievement. So probably that's why they killing raptors.
@@Hiveout that's what the carnage module levels are for.
Right now my group doesn’t care about composition of team. Just trying to level them all up
As a avid Murasame main I couldn’t have appreciated your advice more.
I feel that with the team composition
sometimes I'll try to level up specific tanks but the other 4 players on my team all are deadeyes and don't switch off to a healer
I'm not gonna switch off because I'm trying to level up Vigilant and I don't care about winning if it's with another tank, so when our whole team keeps dying and nobody switches to a healer it really makes you wonder what people think is the cause of them losing
Worse when it's the specific scenario you mentioned: you're tank, the other 4 are DPS, and no one wants to switch to support (you can't because you are already tank...)
Though tbf, I have won before without a dedicated support (3 of us used aid modules, I was tank mura, so we had a LOT of DPS.)
Wait you can switch exo suit mid game? How do you do that?
It is T on PC don't know about controller I am sorry.
It's the select button (left center button)
That is so helpful, thank you so much! I thought I was only able to change when I died.
I had *no* idea Marasume worked like that its one of the only ones I havent tried yet and um... oops
There is any dino kill count after mission so u can see how many u ve killed?
There is
@@dukeofhazard420 how I can check it?
As a murasame main, i must say, please let us just be that little bit crazy...yes we actually have a plan.
Just let us fill up that doughnut of damage..after that fking go all out
I feel barrage needs an ult nerf, 2 barrage ults instantly kill a rex dominator which, while funny, is extremely unfair for the side that used the dominator and it happens all the time. Ive done it to people and people have done it to me, barrage op
As a murasame main i have already loose Hope, team Will not let you charge in crowd 90% of times, becouse they Just care about doing their personal score
It's insane how many people don't watch the objectives. I've had SO many games where people don't kill Pteras and we need Pteras only 😂
How do you switch the exosuits in game?
On PC it is the T button
People ignoring Pterodons and ranged is already driving me insane.
During the final wave the lvl dropped and the other team re appplied them 😂
I wouldn't compare random team mates to an organized 5 men group though - remember that random teams won't communicate at all most of the time.
i main one of each of the roles deadeye DPS murasame tank and witchdoctor support
I go between Deadeye or Kreiger, tried witchdoctor once but didn't do well so I might try Nimbus
Of course just have fun - but when you feel like you don't mind switching things up a bit these are things I recommend looking out for! ^^
Tip 5: stop playing Zephyr aggressively into big Dinos. Use your dashes ffs stop wiping 5+ times to the same carno or trike
When I get into a game and see 3 Assaults and a sniper I know we losing lol Plz just work with me! I can’t be a tank and a healer😭 I try hard to be a team player and play what we need so at least do the same for the team lol
2 supports and 2 DPS 1 Tank is the way to go
Lol or don't play Murasama. Why play a suit that requires others to hold back? 😅
Love this game ❤
Bruh I’m almost played lv100 and I’ve never played on that lava or sky map. Capcom plz.
The Lava map is pretty rare I only got it like 3 times, I am also level 100
you missed a point
when there is a anklyo please switch to melee
You don't necessarily have to - ranged can do fine against Anklyo
@@HDHaZmY but were literally in a race just quick switch and merk it in less than a minute unless your vigilant cus ice
@@susancronshaw4267 related, as vigil, please don't ice the anky until AFTER it's flipped.
the murasame part is bullshit bro...
I have enough hours in the game already to have seen sadly it isn't ^^ A lot of time sadly people don't play as a team and lots of damage is wasted
Eh you can't just let Murasame hog all the kills otherwise you will just sit there doing nothing.
As a murasame main I thank you for including our struggle of stupid zephyrs deadeyes and roadblocks screwing us over
My biggest complaint is supporters not doing their job, you see we’re dying yet you’re off to the left trying to take out Dino’s instead of staying with your team and keeping their health up. Stop playing support if you’re not gonna play the character how it’s meant to be played.
But my nimbus crit DPS. :C :C :C
Murasame and witch doctor is probably one of the worse compositions in my Opinion
Is it fun
Yeah the core game is really fun
Me a Murasame main: THANK YOU
Okay but these are actually good tips.
a good player is good with their main
a great player has no main
Murasame is so trash because of reason 4, learn what a counter attack is 😂
It got boring now.. if your just doing it for achievements then it’s okay.. other than that.. cool stuff
How long have you been playing? I know at around the 10th hour they start throwing in 10 person pve finals which is nuts
You should mention that upgrading some mods to level 5 actually makes them worse and takes away some buffs
But that isn't true? I think you overlooked something
What?
@@HDHaZmY Sort of maybe. I think skywave has one such mod, where the cooldown is reduced but the overall CC duration is reduced as well.
You're trying to hard this game is not deep at all. Win or lose it don't matter be what you want it's a fun game. Don't make it a try hard game
Ik this doesn’t seem like much but how did you get that red exoprimal decal on the roadblocks shield?😅
Thank you for the Murasame tip. Theres been many matches, going solo or with friends, where randoms will not let me or my buddy get the counter buff going. Which slows everything down.
