For students in comment section writing this as a recent graduate from cusat EC .
You should choose the branch based on interest not based on placements . For placements CS will more advantageous. I would say students not to opt for EC thinking of placement bcz if u dont get on campus placement and u are bad in core ece the next step in your future is very difficult bcz ece industries are very less in world wheras if u take civil,mech,eee and all you can go offcampus jobs also .Now regarding CuSat .Ive graduated from cusat and the university has a good name but when it comes to teaching its very poor .Very poor means a day will come you're eyes will be filled with tears by seeing the wrong decisoon you have taken .They wont teach us anything and half of the year you will have holidays and in the end they will rush the portions and put their own below avg qstn paper to make u pass.Then also due to some faculties behaviour you will fail .cusat is like a trap.it shines outside inside its rattrap .

Ofcourse iiit Kottayam bro , it's a no brainer , placements increasing every year , beautiful campus and very good exposure as students from all over India come to this institution and also the IIIT tag which is one of the best tags in india

@@gh-xr2by I think you are from CUSAT. I also disagree with other colleges. In terms of brand value,academic exposure,placements and standard of student Pool NIT,IIT stands top. No other colleges can't be compared. After that you can place CET. After cet No other engineering college in kerala has eligibility to be in CUSAT. CUSAT SOE Is overrated only due to the standard of cusat university. Kerala University is ranked high in university category and NAAC A++ Accredited. But it doesn't mean it's engineering courses are of high standard😂😂😂
