Adam is the highly-skilled Fabricator who is currently helping me build my "Boomer" 1955 GMC Monster Truck.

I always liked this style of bed/box, I always wanted to see one with 1959 Cadillac bullet tail lamp lenses mounted on one. I know it's custom and not stock, but just something I wanted to do to mine back in the day.

Hope he did well selling it if the Auction is over. I like being able to drive something like this and work on it as you go. My favorite years are the 58-59's so this is a winner to me. Only gripe would be letting the engine block rust. That could be a mess here in states with damper climate. To each their own and frankly that's what keeps it all interesting. Thanks for the video!
I agree. I probably would've painted the engine too. Adam was going after the somewhat worn-shop truck look with this one though. There has been a bid on the truck, but it still has about 5-days to go on the auction. Thanks Fer Watchin' again Lee. -Rick
Nice Fleetside! Gave me some ideas for my 58 long bed. My grille and bumper is factory white and I didn't know if I wanted to go with chrome. Question is now answered. Thanks.
The chrome grill really does make the 58 and 59 trucks pop. I did take a painted grill and sand it completely smooth, then primer it and paint it with "Bumper Chrome". Not expensive, something you can easily do yourself, and I thought the one I did came out really nice. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick

A running, driving truck that just needs a little love. Solid bed and lower cab. I'd take that on as a project in a heartbeat if circumstances permitted. Like Jamie said, "We know a guy that has patch panels for those doors". What a fun daily driver.
You usually point out the door hinge pockets when you are manning the camera, Rick. Those looked pretty good in the video. Are they good up close?

Yes, I finally found my Graphic design software discs. They were in one of our storage containers when we moved and I have had an Idea for a logo and wanted to use the program I was used to to design it in a vector format so I can use it for signs, T-shirts, caps, etc...I'll keep you posted. Rick try to go to the Turkey run in Daytona FLA next thanksgiving. Endless trucks cars rat rods. Would be good for your business to go with a truck. I saw guys from Utah and Iowa there last year.

Looking forward to the video of you picking up the F600 tow truck. Will you be putting a fifth wheel hitch on the new tow truck to pull marge behind it like homer? And is there any updates on the F6 and the other equipment?

Classic Truck Rescue just can't get enough spent all last night watching my uncle had a 56 two ton Chevy just like homer he hauled logs on he worked that old truck but when the day was done he would wash it fire engine red with white pen strips and a black bed
my guess what truck your going to go rescue is the one of the iwa jima survivors trucks.Yeah keep us posted on T-shirts and hats I would love to wear them. a truck calendar of your trucks as they sit would be nice to have too.

Jamie, I can't afford it because I live on disability but this would be a great project truck for classic truck rescue this young man looks like he did a fine job on the engine work it sounds like it run's great I think this would be a fine project for the right person to complete for an everyday driver it wouldn't take much for this truck to be a beautiful ride for the right person this would be a project for you to consider what is he trying to get for the truck?

Trying to help someone out who has been doing A LOT of really cool work for me (Boomer). To be honest, I could build a truck just like this from trucks and parts that I already have, so it would be irresponsible for me to buy it ....Adam deserves to get paid on this one..he has put a lot of work and money into this truck. No, I'm really trying to let other people have a shot at rescuing some Rancheros. I feel like I've done my part for the Rancheros. That could be the CTR shop truck. don't change a thing except tint the windows and paint your logo and shop name on the doors.

We aren't Rescuing the F600 until the first week of March....I really doubt anyone is going to guess what we are rescuing tomorrow.
