  • COMPANY NEWS: Getac’s S410 semi-rugged laptop boasts boosted performance, graphics capability, and configurable options to enhance efficiency in today's ultra-demanding industrial work environments from a company with a rich heritage of innovative rugged devices.
Getac. www.getac.com A key subsidiary of the MiTAC-Synnex business group, Getac was first was established in 1989 as a joint venture with GE Aerospace to provide defence electronics.
Since that time, Getac’s business has grown to include rugged laptops and servers, rugged tablets, software, and mobile video solutions for defence, police, firefighters, utilities, automotive, manufacturing, transport and logistics.
Billed as being "natively rugged," Getac states its tech is "built from the ground up to thrive in a variety of weather conditions and easily withstand drops up to six feet," and given the company has a wide range of tablets, laptops and even portable servers, along with a range of software, Getac clearly delivers on its claim.
The company also offers its Getac Select www.getac.com/... service, which it says "has been inspired by our customers and the challenges they face."
When you're solving customer pain points and innovating with their needs, and doing so with aplomb, it's natural to see Getac describe that "the outcome is a combination of rugged computing devices, software, accessories and professional services in a purposeful range of specifically tailored solutions."
As Getac says, "a challenge shared is a challenge solved."
Given Getac is in the business of solutions to business challenges through natively rugged technology designs for various types of tablets and laptops, for work in industrial, logistics, warehouse, workshop, fieldwork, oil and gas, defence, cybersecurity and other business scenarios, with dramatically improved workflows, reliability, longevity and performance over consumer-class devices, the company obviously has a great deal of experience across what would be a massive customer base over the last two-plus decades.
    Getac's S410 www.getac.com/... is a great example of this.
So, what makes the S410 special? Here's the first official Getac S410 video to see for yourself:

It is also Windows 11 compatible, although many enterprise customers will take their time to upgrade, as is normal in the enterprise world.
If you're considering a semi-rugged notebook for any business and work scenario, it is definitely worth considering Getac's range and checking it out for yourself in amongst all of its competitors. It can handle many modern business tasks with ease, while appealing to the widest range of customers yet.

There should be a hidden screw covered by a small round black removable sticker on the back of the Laptop,
right above where the DVD Drive, Optional Battery, or Optional SSD Drive would fit in.
