review of Olympus FE-100 (digicam) - 2005 Digital Photo Camera!
an old CCD 4.0 MP sensor with 2.8X optical zoom.
cute little Point and Shoot camera
*** this video was shot on Canon EOS R mirrorless full-frame camera, Sigma 35mm f1.4 lens on R-EF lens adapter with built-in ND filter.
I used separate audio from a Zoom H1N recorder with Rode Lavalier microphone, it was windy up there... also for the interior and POV scenes i plugged the lav mic straight into the camera.

I like the sort of haze effect these digicams and older smartphones had. Maybe haze is not the correct term, but basically whatever is happening with the foggy light?

So the optics of the lens is cheap, it's a sort of plastic, polymer i guess. But i like it too, it's nostalgic :)

@@JohnyDigiCam3000 Buna ziua! These weren't hazy when new, or even when they were a decade old. The FE-100 was my first decent digital camera after a few no name ones. The picture quality was significantly better than what most brand name point and shoot 35mm film cameras could do in the hands of amateurs. 2005-2006 was when these cameras got affordable with good image quality.

Nice made like your other videos :-). Who many Digicams you have? The problem with the Olympus is the XD picturecard. Have two Fuji which use those cards.

only after 6 pics no, it's not normal... maybe after 50-80 pictures.. check the connections inside the battery door, if they are corroded or not enough contact there somehow...
