After wanting to film these elevators for years and not having the time to do so, I've FINALLY made it here! Prior to the elevators at the Marriott St. Pete-Clearwater and the Swedish Medical Center Cherry Hill being discovered, these elevators were believed to be the ONLY existing LG/Sigma Elevators installed in the United States, and while it turns out they're not the only ones, there is no denying the fact that as it stands they're still seemingly almost nonexistent in the US outside of the 3 or 4 known ones to have been discovered so far, and not many people in the US elevator community can say they're been on ONE LG elevator, LET ALONE TWO!!! Well, I'm happy to say (not trying to flex) that I've gotten the chance to, and these elevators are TRULY Incredible!
Unfortunately, the Main Hotel Elevators recieved a slap on mod with MAD Touch 2 Go a couple years ago, and I'm definitely not happy that I didn't make it here sooner to see the original passenger elevators here, I never would've thought they'd be modded anytime soon as this building was only built in 2006! I find the fact the Main Elevators were already modernized to be hilariously pointless and an absolute waste, but on the positive side, the mod was literally just a slap on and the Awesome & RARE Indicators, Call Station and Unique & LUXURIOUSLY Smooth Ride Quality all still remain today.
And the best part about the mod is that the Service Elevator which serves all 25 floors of the building (including the Residences) still remains 100% original, and even though the cab isn't the Nicest, I do like it more than the elevators at the Marriott in Clearwater! The fixtures are WAY Cooler and look super foreign and EVERY Button on the COP lights up, which is not something you see everyday, especially on an elevator installed in 2006! Just like most foreign elevators, this service elevator also runs SUPER Smoothly, it has a Cool Sounding Motor, the Classic Sigma chimes that I've fallen in love with ever since I first rode the elevators at the Marriott in Clearwater, and all in all it's just such an AWESOME & COOL Elevator in every way possible and DEFINITELY a MUST SEE when In Seattle!
I don't really have a whole lot else to say here, but with that said, enjoy my video of what are now my SECOND LG/SIGMA Elevators I've gotten the chance to ride on!
    Installed in 2006.
Modernized in 2021. (COPs replaced with MAD Touch 2 Go on Main Elevators. Motors, Controllers, Call Stations, Lobby Indicators and Call Stations all left original, Service Elevator remains 100% untouched.)

I’ve actually never heard of touch screens in elevators before.

So, I rode some CUSTOM OTIS SERIES 1's IN THE PROCESS OF BEING MODERNIZED BY SCHINDLER WITH PROBABLY 6400NA. I LOVE OTIS SERIES 1 ELEVATORS! When i was there, I saw the modded one working, one in the process of being modded, and 1 original, obviously I rode the original and modernized ones, but unfortunately I didn't get any footage of it :(

It makes sense that the buttons got replaced, they felt very cheap and flimsy.

I don't exactly consider the New Touchscreens to be any better though....

@@FloridianElevators oh don’t get me wrong, I’d take any kind of buttons over a touchscreen any day.
