Having paid more for flights due to a ship arrival delay, I can agree that the $150 OBC would not go anywhere in recompense for changed flights and hotel bookings, especially when the best deals are not cancellable or transferrable.
Kids must have bathtub! Also, relaxing in a bathtub after a full day of sightseeing/walking is a must (assuming the shower area is adequate when used).😍
We are on that cruise. They did provide transport from one port to the other, as car parking is how it should have been. Anthem is now on 102 should have been 101.
That’s easy, definitely a large walk in shower with glass doors. No more flimsy curtains and no more tubs. We have one at home for that purpose. I don’t want or need a bubble bath on a cruise. What if the ship is rocking? Splashing sudsy water all over the floor, that sounds safe then I slip, fall and break a hip or something. Yup great idea.
There seems to be more and more non refundable OBC being given to customers when things go wrong. The cruise companies do this because basically it costs them very little especially when it's compared to them doing the right thing and that's paying out proper compensation to put things right. Berting in a completely different country is a massive complication and inconvenience to their customers. It doesn't matter whose fault it is, that's for the company to litigate about, their obligation is towards the customer and to make sure that they are not out of pocket and are helped out on their way home. Just trying to make more money is disgraceful behaviour and just shows the utter contempt that they hold for the passengers that pay their wages. Its simply not good enough.
I hope everyone made it to the correct port. There are some people still like a bathtub. I was on Celebrity Beyond Sky Suite, which had a bathtub with the shower. I would be concerned about a country change for disembarkation
I recently learned something very critical to avoiding Norovirus while cruising. The fact is that alcohol based hand sanitizer does not kill Norovirus. The only way to eliminate it is to mechanically remove it with lots of soap and water or by the use of commercial grade disinfectant used in hospitals. So AFTER you fill your plate at the buffet you need to go wash your hands BEFORE you start enjoying your meal because hand sanitizer doesn't cut it. Also avoid the hot tub. The water in hot tubs is the perfect temperature for multiplying norovirus. That's why they close down , drain and disinfect hot tubs at the first sign of the virus onboard. I look at hot tubs as big vats of fecal soup. 🤮
Is this another fuel savings thing with NCL again. I’ve never seen a cruise line change so many things and make passengers scramble to make changes. Good way to ruin someone’s vacation.
The tub is a waste of space. A walk-in shower is much appreciated in a hotel room or anywhere else. NCL disembarking in a different county is a pretty big change but at least they announced it a few months out. Compensation of a non-refundable $150 onboard credit makes NCL appear as tightfisted penny-pinching corporation with their customers in light of the fact that they just spared no expense in Venice culling favor with Tony and other online cruise influencers.
I want a nice walk in shower with a glass door. I hate the tiny stalls with a curtain. Getting dropped in a different country could be a catastrophe for a lot of people.
Change of port for disembarking is huge. They should pay for everyone's airfare
Just tell the cruise that you are a wanted person, in China, so you refuse to get off the ship.

I would prefer larger shower than a tub!
I would never sit in a strange tub!! Ewww!! Was it cleaned properly after the last guests / or cleaned at all - time consuming! No way !
Hope you are enjoying London my friend!
Ok, your going to take me to another country and drop me off. WHAT? Then I book a suite with a tub and there was NO tub? WHAT!! None of this is ok! 😮😢
Always worth checking with port security on the way in that the berth hasn't changed.
True most people use showers. Good luck to the folks that had there disembark changed. Nightmare
Thanks Don, have a great weekend!
What a challenge. To end up in a different country than you expected.

I agree 💯 percent with you Don would perfer a larger shower instead of tub

That would be really hard to have plans changed. Love seeing that picture of the Disney ship.
Differently a large walkin shower is very much appreciated. Being dropped off in a different country han expected would be a nightmare
The Missing Tub Caper - love it!🤣
Wow, changing embarkation and is embarkation countries is a huge change
Definitely prefer a larger shower with door..NO shower curtain!!!
That change of port and country would be a pain in the butt. Larger shower is better than a tub for moi.
Probably cheaper to fly from Hong Kong to the Philippines to get your flight home than to switch…quite the trek
Showers save water. It may also be a conservation measure to take out the tubs.

You look well rested! Just take care!

A large walk-in shower would be better than a tub on a cruise ship, imo.
I’ve never used a tub on a cruise or hotel. The only way I would use it, if I had small children.
Hey Don How come you don't show us more of your touring pictures haven't seen any this week. Would love to see some.
It is not acceptable! Shower only! Thanks Don
I never use a tub. Love the larger shower!

I will choose a nicer shower any day. I have not had a tub bath since I was a child. Long time ago.
What have you been doing in London Don?
How do they handle Chinese visa requirements when you’re being “dropped” off?
Larger shower please, no tub.
I prefer a larger ealk-in shower, even in my hotel rooms.
Hi Don. Have a great day. 😄
I want a nice walk in shower with a glass door. I hate the tiny stalls with a curtain. Getting dropped in a different country could be a catastrophe for a lot of people.
I’m curious, if you bought travel insurance (not thru the cruise), would it cover the cost of new flights?
When are you going on Sun Princess?
Don, what level luxury suite are you upgraded to on the Sun?
Which river was mentioned in the video?
Hello Don!
I'm a bathtub lover! Showers alone do not clean women properly 😢
I like a nice bath, but only at home! Too much work to do on a cruise! Give me a nice big shower any day!
Don .good mornings 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Good morning
Shower!!!!
Much rather have large shower
I love my bubble baths. However, I would rather have a big walk in shower.
