I tried for years to make my ex be someone they are not at all capable of being. I only saw his potential, i looked past the lies and disrespect because i wanted it to work. Now a year after the breakup i get flashbacks of all the disrespect i allowed myself to endure. Never again. "If you gotta question if theyre really for you, its a REASON" I was completely oblivious as Trent says to who he really was. Im grateful to be out of that situation. Trents vids helped me alot to handle the aftermath of the breakup and finally seeing the truth. Thank you Trent. And to anyone reading this,you dont deserve disrespect

I've refused to see this for years, especially when it came to family... but the previously unnoticed patterns have continued to wear into my heart, and now finally my head. Some very close relationships have been heartbreaking for so long... yet it's now sadly comical to realize just how long I was able to ignore reality. I know this served me in my childhood because I was too young and vulnerable to speak my mind to a person who did NOT have my best interest at heart... but now... no... thanks .. no more rose colored glasses.. believe them the first time they show us who they are... jealous, heart less, back stabbers, so NOT worthy of your friendship nor time. This is what I needed to hear today. It goes deeper than this though, and a lot of it has to do with ourselves. People around us change their behavior when we change ourselves, and we can see it. When I go into purpose-mode and get on top of things really well, suddenly I have people showing interest in me, suddenly I get a text or phone call out of nowhere, because people can sense your energy change long distance, I know it's crazy, but much of people's behavior toward's us is completely dependent on our own actions. We essentially have some spiritual or psychic control over people based on how well we control ourselves. Idk, my two cents.
I believe you are right about our higher energy drawing different people towards us as well as raising those around us. Acquiring boundaries combined with realizations of truth in relationships with some loved ones, family and friends, has brought out the "hermit" in me. Your comment reminds me that I am growing toward a higher energy way of life.

You're right. My problem has been continuously meeting narcissistic people whenever I do put myself out there to meet new people. A new woman joined a group I'm in and she seems nice sometimes but she has several red flags of being a jealous, resentful, bitter, angry, back stabbing person. The trouble is I have no other local friends. I need to try out more groups and meet more people and I will but right now I'm just tired.
Take care of yourself, meditate, be kind to yourself, study learn grow... and pray. One day you'll realize you've been filling your own cup back up. And you'll feel clear and clean and open again. 🌟

This is so right on point. 💯.. I have experienced this.. and the peace and freedom even of recognizing who they are, what they are literally not capable of doing, I can't express properly but it's like I accept who they are, what their capacity is and I like them more, I can be more tolerant because this is who they are at their core. So, they can't hurt me anymore. Some I've cut off, others for various reasons are allowed limited access to my life.. so good so GOOD!!!

I have a friend who became jealous, yes quit giving her the opportunity to let me down. She was like that with another friend who had lost her son and she did not feel for her, she said well look at how much she has, she has a lot better life than me. Oh my just jealousy. I would have problems with adult kids and she did not validate me or show support. I have to accept her as she is to move on. Yes, I wanted her to be someone she didnt want to become. I have to see the truth in the person, yes, thanks.
