I love this you are bluntly right doc ......I want to do nursing but most of the people are discouraging me saying there no jobs, and the are hundred of nurses without jobs mmmmm we really need to create more medical infrastructures so that more people are accommodated.
Thank you so much for having highlighted this Doc. Very educative...❤ Just a question though, What about job opportunities abroad how abundant are they ???, how possible is it for one to seek employment abroad just after completing med school and interning in some other country ?
You’re most welcome. Majority of other countries would want some clinical experience, and that will be on top of writing their licensing exams. But if you plan to still come back and practice in Zambia, you’ll still need to do internship here.
It's okay although from my experience studying abroad. They might ask you to write exams or even attend school for sometime based on your lever of study and transcripts regardless of you being fully licensed or not. You would also have to get HPCZ documentation allowing you to work out side zambia and you would have to re-do internship once back in Zambia just like kassie said...it's a tough choice 😅😅
Hey there! The term doctor refers to a medical doctor with a degree. In my country, we don’t use it for anyone with a diploma (I assume you are talking about clinical officers).
It used to be months for all but now it’s becoming years for some. I personally know people who have been waiting for two-three years. However, others are lucky to have waited only a few months.
Powerful eye opener for incoming doctors ❤

We really do, I totally agree. I hope that’s a change that happens moving forward.
My boss nice one
Thank you for sharing your insights. For a beginner in the medical journey, seems abroad is a better option to study ??
Both abroad & within are great options. I believe it depends on your long-term goals, I made a video about this, you can check it out. ❤️
Hi doctor....i want to transition from bsc Nursing into medicine. What should I know?
Beautiful video Doc. How is the procedure after you graduate from med school to becoming a full time physician?
Hey, I’ll make an update video about this soon. But you have to write you HPCZ exam then apply to MOH.
Yes please.
Kindly also make one about the procedure for non-Zambians that studied abroad, that intend to practice in Zambia🙏🏾

Are you talking about saturation of clinical Doctors with Diploma level or medical doctors?
