Thanks so much! Haha Yeah it was a fun challenge. The payload for this gimbal is 300 grams. Same as the smooth 5. It feels a lot stronger than the DJI osmo gimbals to me.

Rob we have Smooth 5 gimbals with iPhone 14 Pro Max, plus moment lenses and filters. Does this have heavier motors to increase load?

From what I can tell the max Load is the same as the smooth 5.

How do you feel about using counter balance weigh on the 5s

I have not had to use them on the smooth 5s to be honest. I imagine it would be fine for a while but eventually weaken the motors slightly.

I'd try uninstalling and re-installing filmic pro and if it still doesn't work drop filmic pro an email. No reason why it shouldn't be working if the smooth gimbal option in enabled with in filmic pro and bluetooth is turned on.

Gimbals are, primarily making for image stabilisation while walking, even running shots. but,,, I cant see any review about that in gimbal reviews. nothing. its just about tracking, spinning, mounting....... stabilisation ????. no.
