American pundits and fans need to start showing us some respect… going into this game, the attitude in Canada was that we expected to win this game, and to win handily… which we did… it’s time for Americans to accept that, at least right now, we have caught up to, and passed the US in terms of quality and results…

Only Hercules has been giving credit, not just in this episode but for years now. Always very fair analyses that focuses on the USA without diminishing the opponents that played a better game.
This Moreno on the other hand is so hard to watch. Not only does he remind me of a Latino Don Cherry with his nonsensical fashion sense, but his loudmouth arrogance as well. He’s probably still angry that Canada kicked out Venezuela a few months ago. Especially at the end when he’s up in arms about Marsch coaching Canada; it’s not Marsch that’s bitter, it’s you. Get over it, tell your American journalist buddies to stop asking him this useless question and stop pretending to read his mind and call him a liar. From now on I’ll just fast forward his parts as they bring no value to the conversation.

What he is also selling is passion.. in the future if a job comes up(probably not for USMT lol) they will know this guys is 100% all in. He is also building a brand for himself in Canada, once he is done with the national team he can get a job at TFC or Montreal, his salary supposedly paid by the owners of the Canadian clubs and some external contributions(yes CSA is that poor and terribly managed).
It was a really shitty performance in particular because new coach is coming, they KNOW he is watching that game. This is the impression they are making.. not to mention a chance of redemption after Copa.. what the hell is wrong with them? Yes it is a friendly and if they were the ones in Canadian shoe after Copa America they could chill out and nobody would care much. But they are not.

If Marsh does well with Canada, and say leaves and does well with a good club side... you bet he'd be a candidate. Different folks might be involved with USSF as well. Mauricio Pochettino is used to coaching disorganized unmotivated players with his stint at Chelsea...maybe Marsh dodged a bullet not getting the job coaching the USMNST....maybe it turns out to be shit show job...much more fun coaching a team that is hungry to grow and win...even if paid less. The reality is US fans will never care that much about soccer and will play second fiddle to NFL, NBA, MLB ,college football and maybe even the NHL in the US...fans didn't show up to see their team play...hockey in Canada will always be number one but even for a friendly soccer game against the US, the game would be sold out and packed...

15:00 Completely disagree. Pulisic should also be starting from zero and he should not be considered a lock to make the WC26 roster. He isn't as good as the majority of American supporters make him out to be and he is not a consistent difference maker to be held in such high esteem. Quite frankly, I would turn the page from all the players who played in WC22. The shadow of TripleG hangs over all of them.

Nobody cared. Nobody is mad like you cause Marsch is 100% right. This game doesn't matter. And beating Canada isn't the issue. They need to figure why they can't beat Netherlands or Belgium. Why they can't keep the ball. Why they can't pass and trap. Why they lose the ball all the time. Why American youth soccer doesn't produce players that can control the ball in tight space.

Dear POCHETINNO....Please Change our Youth "Pay For Play" System.....We are a Pay For Play Nation.....and this is a doom for World Class Soccer...What Happens is it CATERS to a certain level of player and what happens is it creates a "BUBBLE WRAP" around the core of the top players and they that group of players gets insulated and they by this design can't be challenged or really lit on fire to be at their best..........This is a design issue...will the Coach help.......yes, but it again is a band aid for a deep issue....this boat will never sail to the level we want it too......until we take the band aid off and grow USA SOCCER......Stop The Pay For PLAY MODEL and let the KIDS PLAY.........be wild eyed and full of passion....this PAY FOR PLAY MODEL creates Functioning Robotic PLAYERS.....basically it takes the BLOOD away from the player...and Soccer Is Life Mentality.....it takes away the PASSION and at the end of the day....Soccer is passion

Cause if there was VAR the US goal would have been called back and its 2-0. W Cup qualifying Canada were 1 win and 1 draw against US. Copa America this summer, Canada played for 3rd place, US were in a weaker group initially and didnt get out of the group.
