I opted for the micro fiber towel and mild hand soap option. Gently massaging and wiping and drying. Eliminated the full on destruction and repair process.

@@timarnold7239 no Its far from that we are removing head grease When you remove head grease that’s got into the collagen fibres you have to use a gel degreaser designed for leather When carrying this out it will remove colour in most cases as the head grease has removed some of the colour already where it’s made all the surface go sticky and tacky from the grease Once the head grease is removed you paint the leather again and it’s back to new once more

Does this apply to fake leather as well? Same removal and reapplying colour afterwards?

Once the head grease is removed you paint the leather again and it’s back to new once more
