    This Q&A makes me realize how far behind I am on understanding the compatibility of ar parts when attempting a build. 🤯 gotta start somewhere though! I'll catch up eventually. 😂 love my cmmg resolute. And so does everyone else that sees it!! 🎉👍

    Thanks for educating on the theory of standard vs radial delayed blowback. Glad I’ve listened to these videos and done my research before building my AR-45 build. That said the cMMG MKG is no doubt the best option for minimal recoil, durability, and most importantly reliability👍

    Very happy with my 300 series Banshee 10mm now. Whatever the ejection problem was, you guys fixed it. When I got it back in November, I took it to deer camp, and did some test firing-rapid fired 2 30 round mags of 180gr Hornady XTP's without a hiccup

    I used your 9mm bolt & barrel combo with a stripped upper, just wallered out that ejection port till it cycled gud.
    I use it on a FOxtrotMikes glock lower, just removed the ejector and it runs like a dream.

    I just bought the 9mm RDB back 8-inch barrel, and I am putting folding stock on it. I do have the weight set and 2 different weight bolt extensions for the folding stock adapter. I'm running mostly +p and +p+ ammo but do have some cheap stock ammo to also run. Is there an overall weight to try and get to. The bolt extensions are light one at 1.6 Oz, and the other is 3.4 Oz

    Will the radial delayed system work with 5.56? There are advantages to not using a gas operated rotating locking bolt, you get the full velocity of the round with no gas robbed to rotate the bolt, the radial delay system looks like it wouldn't wear out as fast as some of H&Ks roller delayed systems

    Can I use your radial delayed BCG and Barrel kit with a PSA ARV receiver set so that I can use scorpion mags? Do you know any reasons why it wouldn't work or do you know if anyone has ever done this before? If you know that it doesn't work then do you know of any AR9 receivers that use scorpion mags and are compatible with your bolt and barrel?

    • @CMMG
      @CMMG  ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't that we are aware of. There are grooves in the bottom of the carrier that would align better with Glock or AR magazines. Scorpion magazines are significantly wider.

    as long as you have the RDB bolt and barrel from cmmg you can pretty much use any pcc glock lower as long as you remove the extractor i preferred the circle ten or angstadt arms because of LRBHO and about 200.00 dollars cheaper than cmmg their extremely proud of their products.

    Why does your radial delay bolt not come with an extractor o-ring? You carry this part# 55BA475, why not include them in the bolts? Is it because of it being a pistol caliber round?

    How much of a turn does the Bolt actually do when in full Battery? Is it locked into place when like a Lug on a bolt action locks in?

    • @CMMG
      @CMMG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the chamfered edges of the bolt, it never actually "locks". It just rotates into its location.

    Have the 5.7 bolt and barrel kit installed doing pre-checks. Checking headspace with the bolt stripped, I noticed the bolt won't go past the locking lugs and rotate with the "go" gauge in (from Pacific Tool & Gauge) - is this normal and how best might I check headspace if so?

    Can you use the .22 conversion as a dedicated bcg for an upper?

    • @CMMG
      @CMMG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could, but the twist rate isn't quite right for the best accuracy in a .22. Plus you'll likely foul up your gas system if shooting nothing but .22 out of it.

    • @reeper26
      @reeper26 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CMMG yeah I would use a .22 barrel. I have a spare lower and the bravo kit sitting around and wondered if I could make it a dedicated bcg.

    • @CMMG
      @CMMG  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reeper26 If you have a dedicated barrel, you'll just need to change the chamber adapter on the conversion to what we call a collar. It's designed to interact with the dedicated barrel.

    Building a pcc 9mm sucks. Too many “off-ramps’!!!!!. This doesn’t match that. That doesn’t match this!!!! I hate that I started spending money, before, truly understanding, the mess that I was getting into!!!!!!’n

    • @FishKepr
      @FishKepr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You encountered one of the big challenges of building a straight-blowback AR PCC, there is no standard. This is one of the benefits of the CMMG RDB as it can use a standard lower configuration, including the FCG, and standard upper receiver.

    Here's a fkn question... WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET A QUOTE AND ORDER FORM FOR A RDB 5.7 BCG FIRING PIN?.... BEEN WAITING SINCE MARCH 🤬

    • @CMMG
      @CMMG  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure what process you’ve been trying, but if you just want to order a spare, you can order one on our website. Just search Mk57 firing pin. Unfortunately YT will not allow us to put the link. Or it can be ordered direct from our sales team. There’s no order form needed.
      If it’s a repair part, that goes to our Tech Support team and they send a replacement.
      The only exception to the above would be if the parts leave the US. Since we cannot export directly, it would be going through an exporter and subject to whenever they place an order.

    Have you considered making a functional product?
    I'm real tired of thieves hand prepping a few guns to work, shipping them out to popular reviewers, and then dumping nonfunctional stuff on their customers. If you can't make functional kit for everyone, don't steal their money.
