Nah, that was horror. She realised that he wasn't just being nice, he was procrastinating. And because he has the ability to repeat the day, who knows how many times he has been doing it. Dozens? Hundreds of times? She felt betrayed and horrified that he wasn't doing everything he could like she had before, when she had the ability.
This reminds me of encountering a soul you knew from past lives, you try to warn them of doom if they repeat stubborn behavior, but they won’t listen. Then you have to watch them repeat the same mistake that put them in the ditch before. What relief when you realize the person is just lost and know there’ll be no more rescue missions. 😅
In the Groundhog Day movie, Bill Murray's character spends somewhere around like 30 years in the time loop. I tend to wonder how many years Tom Cruise's character spent in the time loop with each reset and what the total death count was for his character.
"You can fly it, can't you?" "I'm still working on my landing." Are you, though? Are you really still working on your landing, Tom Cruise? Says the guy who could make a damn sailboat fly if he wanted to.

"I wish I didn't know you... but I do"... what a powerful moment so simply done. This is a great moment in this movie.
The sheer tenacity of Major William to continue what must be one of the most hopeless feeling struggles ever.....every day watching someone you love die, while you die, and trying to amass all the knowledge of all the choices that you have to execute perfectly to survive and get further than before.....that is a circle of hell itself.
Such a good movie!
They both really naild this one...i felt it 😊😢😌😌
One of the movies that you cannot stop watching again if you come by. Like The Matrix, Indiana Jones, LotR, The Big Lebowski, Groundhog Day.
This move was really good and way underrated
It’s not underrated at all, every site has it at a high rating
@@Highbudget high ratings yet didn’t do as well as it should’ve when it hit the movie theaters.
@@anntwin1301 THAT DOES NOT MEAN UNDER RATED FFS
According to the director of this film, Tom Cruise's character goes through the entire scenario (before finally winning), Cage dies a disturbing twenty-six times and has he has 160 iterations. One film fan on Stack Exchange noted that he probably experienced this scene/issue about 30-35 times. He has seen her die here dozens of times.
Wow strong and not boring female action character
though Emily admits she doesn't like these characters because they're boring, her words lol
@@newyorkpotioncastle I imagine she reads the scripts and realizes those character have hardly any character building. Rita had great character development throughout the entire movie.
You can check out atomic blonde
In an alternate universe she played Cpt Marvel and the movies are still good.
@@waquasalam1450 That movie put me to sleep three times while watching it.
one of the best movies ever made
When time itself becomes your adversary you begin to see beyond what you thought and you realize that was never true but it was fun just like a drama
a movie ahead of its time,,one of my favourite
Loved that movie realy a lot! Great actors too players ! 😁
This is a really really really really good movie
Imagine spening years with a person but she only know you for a few hours
This is what a real man would do
Man this movie gets better the more the years go by…… right up there with Kingdom of heaven
2010-2020 was the age of golden action movies like this
The only movie with so many repeated scenes that you don't mind watching it again and again.
I like that he never says how long it's been. He doesn't say "I've been spending every day with you for 50 years." It would be impactful but cool to leave the audience to wonder how long it's been. Could be 10,000 years.
Wait... how many times have i seen this movie? HOW MANY!
This movie was too good for the year it came out.
Now ladies this amount of effort is equivalent to the journey a man takes to know the answer to what's wrong during an argument.
If you enjoyed this movie, you should play The Outer Wilds. It's an amazing story.
I just always think how tired one must feel going through these scenarios again.
That look on her face when hes pouring the sugar says it all.
"Holy crap, we're falling in love."
I always thought it was the dawning on her that he's played this exact scene out probably 100s of times.
No, she realizes that he knows where everything is in the room, therefore he knows where the keys are too
@@Olter_ more like stalling for time, really.
Him: "Yeah we've done all this before and it doesn't work so listen to me."
Her: "Nah it'll work this time watch"
Weirdly unsuccessful film financially. Well-written, well-acted, well-directed, the FX are great. The entire film is near a classic.
Kudos to the people who had to loop back and retake this helicopter scene over and over until it was perfect. ❤
Reminds me of my highschool crushes. . As soon as I show some interest they'd rather die
Same, dude...
I was believed she should have been Jill valentine in the resident evil movies even in the new one but I guess she is to old
Honestly anyone better than milla jonovich would be great
@@spook407 Milla Jonovich doesn't play Jill lmao
@@Weezlord69 no, she only played the replacement for jill valentine because in the movies she got mind controlled and killed.
Men like Bruce Willis play action heroes into their 50s
@@spook407 you're mixing up with the Alice character. Btw, I think Jovovich did a good enough job.
Idk how many years late i am with this but this is soo good Thank God i watch this😂
This movie is Great. My two favorites
Excellent movie.
Very clever movie.. just as in the movie, it makes us watch it over & over...
as someone who knows chicks, this tracks 100 percent
This reminds me of encountering a soul you knew from past lives, you try to warn them of doom if they repeat stubborn behavior, but they won’t listen. Then you have to watch them repeat the same mistake that put them in the ditch before. What relief when you realize the person is just lost and know there’ll be no more rescue missions. 😅
In the Groundhog Day movie, Bill Murray's character spends somewhere around like 30 years in the time loop. I tend to wonder how many years Tom Cruise's character spent in the time loop with each reset and what the total death count was for his character.
great movie
"You can fly it, can't you?"
"I'm still working on my landing."
Are you, though? Are you really still working on your landing, Tom Cruise? Says the guy who could make a damn sailboat fly if he wanted to.
Emily Blunt is a fantastic actress!
Endure the pain. Use it. It teaches you how to be a better person.
How do you use it?
@@M05tlysince you know how it feels you can utilize that pain and make things better so you dont have to feel that way.
Well I think that one can use that pain to do something better for themselves , like utilise that strength or stress into something that is worthy ,
Well, time to watch it again..
This movie is thaaat good
GREAT movie.
Has there been another movie that if you glanced would just assume terrible but remarkably ends up being one of those movies you can watch over and over again? It's not just underrated, its so rewatchable. Hell or High Water is another one that is so much better than you judge first.
I don’t know if anyone here is a Matrix fan, but this movie reminds me of the Matrix. 😅😂
We got the ships, sentinels, neo, etc. 😂😂😂😂
Matrix will always remain as the base of comparison for action sci-fy movies along with Terminator and Aliens.
Does anyone know the jacket Rita Vrataski wears in this scene? I’ve been trying to find it but all I can find is her other jacket she wears on the military base and to when they go see the Colonel. The jacket in this scene is different, the one she wears underneath the exo suit. If someone can find this jacket for sale, or at least something very similar to it. Please tell me.
imagine every time she dies, she tells him a secret ...
she dying: it was not two spoon of sugar but three ... x,x
I loved the depth here. It was a bit of a change of pace of of the film, and in some ways was a time jump - knowing that he's likely come this far many times.
Even when they know they gonna die, women still refuse to listen
