It's been MANY years of this software, used for flash animations of the 2000s/2010s...

(The problem is that converting the flash projects to video files may cause problems. That goes for me-)
(Even though MacroMedia got defunct awhile back, I might get the hang of that.)
Hahah this is a legendary software, if you want to convert to video you should use swivel from newgrounds, might do a video on it

thanks this helped me but the prolbme i have with animation, for each frame do you have to draw the picture over again?
I'm not sure if you'll see this or if you know how to solve this problem, but when a sound plays it seems to pause the animation for a moment before continuing and skipping the frame the audio was set to play at.

I’ve tried to draw on this software using a graphics tablet yet it’s very fiddly, when I draw a line the canvas moves
this is like a year old and i don't know if you already gave up but did you try disabling windows ink
Like the above comment says did you try disabling windows ink? And if that didnt work did you try going into the registry editor, searching panningdisabled, changing the value to 1 and then rebooting? I did that and it fixed my problem

hi, so i have flash 8 installed, and i have a huion H610PRO, but every time i make a line or use the tools on the side bar, it makes a single dot and then i cant do anything. but when i do it with my mouse, it works just fine. i have my drivers installed but idk what to do. do you have a solution to this?

question, how would you export an animation from macromedia flash 8 in mp4 format? When I export it and convert it the audio is off a little and idk why
the exporting has always been pretty wonky and bad, we normally export it to .swf by pressing ctrl + enter i think and using a program called swivel to convert that to mp4, you can download it its by newgrounds

yes, but you can also drag and drop .wav files into flash onto the canvas at a keyframe
it seems to freeze whenever i click the create new flash document button....weird, ill just use another program

Hi! Im having trouble drawing, when i want to draw a line. It instead moves the workspace/canvas or whatever its called, any idea on how to fix that problem? Btw i use Huion H430P and an Acer laptop

i cant install it on windows vista and higher, theres a windows service called "remote procedure call locator" and its basically useless on windows 10, but flash 8 installer needs it, so i cant install it

I have a question! I've been using Flash 8 for years (don't wanna update cause I'm so used to Macromedia). Usually I have no problems, however I sometimes get a glitched frame? I don't know how to explain it.. but I was working on something last night, everything looked fine. This morning I open the file, and see that one of the frames is..chopped up looking? Like parts of what I drew are gone and the colors not there lol
It's happened before, and usually I end up having to redraw it..so I'm curious if you've seen that glitch, and if there's a way to fix it without having to redraw everything? lol
hmm thats very bizarre, no i havent ever come across this problem before, is it a problem with saving maybe or file corrupption?

how did you get macromedia flash in 2018 and if so, is it safe to be used nowadays?

you might have to install the driver or reinstall it, just google your tablet name and look for driver

What about ActionScript? It's a huge part of Flash that's able to make Flash content interactive, as Flash is not exclusive to being used as a drawing application.

Sorry for the late reply, but do you mean the frame rate and dimension? Then I think I've mentioned in the vid, double click the frame rate display

you just have to select the ones you want to move and click hold and drag to where you want to move them

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to find this online now and I honestly don't even know how I would find it now, I've tried g drive but it won't let me share exe files for some reason

why not? many animators use 12 fps
srsly, coloring your character with brush? thats completely idiotic and will take a lot of time to make animation. if you dont know macromedi flash got color fill tool too.

yes its faster to colour by bucket tool and its the standard, but the more line layers you have and more complex the animation, bucket tool wont really work and i just use the brush on another layer in the end. its situational in the end
