If needed, it is possible to recycle an old flat modular ISDN telephone line cable to create a short jumper for an Ethernet connection, simply crimp the RJ45 connectors and wires with the same color sequence on both ends, perhaps to be replaced as soon as possible with a Cat6 round cable or higher, with significantly better performance in terms of speed and reliability.

Will a flat Ethernet cable fit correctly into a standard RJ45 plug?
A flat Ethernet cable, also known as a flat Ethernet patch cable, has the same RJ45 connectors as regular Ethernet cables. So, it should fit correctly into a standard RJ45 plug without any issues. Just make sure the connectors are aligned properly, and you should be good to go.Thanks for watching, if you haven't already: share, comment, like, check out the other videos, offer a super thank you and subscribe to the channel. No it will not has 30 gage wire to thin not able to settle in place in RJ45 they wiggle around I was not able to crimp them properly
They are twisted and too small for a RJ45 can't crimp them they wiggle around have to use a 8 pin RJ45 adapter like a wall plate. Do not TOUCH lol
Effectively, flat cables are very easy to crimp, but they are not good for long runs because they are prone to electromagnetic interference. @@AndreaBox they are twisted pair and too thin very hard to manipulate and put in place
It’s not in the right order
For the type of cable used, the order is correct. Thanks for watching, if you haven't already: share, comment, like, check out the other videos, offer a super thank you and subscribe to the channel. Thanks for the support. Bye

There are two standards (T-568A and T-568B). As long as you have the same standard (wire order) on both ends of the cable it doesn't matter which one you use.
