2006 Dodge Charger Custom Exhaust! (Flowmaster Super 10s + Long Tube Headers) - (6.5L Hemi V8)

- Today's video covers the custom exhaust found under my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona. This no longer has the stock 5.7L Hemi V8 under the hood, but rather a 6.5L naturally aspirated stroker motor. Along with the motor comes a customized exhaust that was put together by Ned and Tony at Rolling Thunderz/MorePower Performance. I wanted to go over all the details, including headers, mufflers, tips, pipes, and cold air intake, give you a good look under the car, and have lots of sound clips as well!

The NAG1 trans is a Mercedes Benz unit, pretty bulletproof, just get the fluid level exact when servicing! I respooled/resprung the valve body in mine in my '14 Chrysler 300C hemi car and installed Mercedes AMG blue top shift solenoids, shifts extra firm and gets 1-2 shift rubber now, but with a noticeable downshift similar to a Euro spec M/B AMG car. Also replace the conductor plate and electrical plug assembly when servicing, cheap insurance. FCP Euro has those parts in stock.
Just curious if you have thrown any DTC's with the back O2 sensors with the long tube headers.......have heard that can be a problem with a header install with some cars.

I have a mango. originally they were just going to do yellow and orange and then dodge decided to release the torred in the second half.

I owned a Go Mango 06 Daytona for 16 years # 2406. Basically had fun with the car, it was originally my wife’s car but when I lost her in 2020 it became mine. Too many beautiful memories so I sold the car but I still have the window sticker if the new owners want it or it’s not totaled. Hopefully the latter didn’t happen. Carrier Bearing is a must on these cars at about 70k.

Hey man I just bought my first car 2010 dodge charger v6. I love the way it looks and drives and I'm not looking to make any changes to it for some time. But it is really quiet, do you have any suggestions on what u should do first ? All the sound I'd ubder the car but doesn't flow to the exhaust, should I buy a new kit ?

hi wondering what year (2004-2014) of dodge chargers are more reliable. i am looking to buy a dodge charge and i saw that between 2004 and 2014 ones are cheaper and within my budget,so just wondering which would be the more reliable .i love dodge chargers but every where i look, its always negative talk about it..thanks

Yeah it’s miles and miles louder than the V6 which seems quiet now, deafening and shakes my whole condo underground parking lot. In person it’s so loud at all times 😂

any problems with police for the exhaust Ontario?? I'm planning on getting one for mine but I heard police hand out tickets left and right
Zero issues whatsoever with exhaust. In my honest opinion, the police will never pull you over for that shit in a car. When cruising sure you’re loud but not as loud as a motorcycle anyways. If you’re accelerating yeah it’s loud as fuck but at that point you’re speeding anyways and going to get pulled over for that should a cop see you. He won’t be like “hey he’s too loud let me get him” at that point it’s too late. So I don’t think it’s a worry, unless you have irritated neighbors haha that’s the major concern

What's the difference between the race super 10s and the other standard super 10s
Honestly I’m not sure. I tried looking into that and Flowmaster says the race versions have “Delta Flow technology” (idk what that is), more durable steel, and minimal decibel reduction so maybe a bit louder and stronger overall. Doesn’t seem like a crazy difference though

I kno this is old but was it still a 5.7 block you added the stroker kit to?
I gotta update this and do more vids for sure, but it wasn’t exactly a kit. The performance shop did it custom individually ordering parts and what they thought was best, in the end I guess it would be most of what’s in a stroker kit though (like forged crank, pistons, all that)

That power seems incredibly low. Do you have the srv wired up? As for exhaust systems. Look up Heartthrob Exhaust. They also have a knockoff through summit racing made by tje same folks for a little cheaper. 3 inc inside diameter, H pipe, mufflers are straight through unlike the flowmasters which will break. I broke a set of 40s,44s, and super 10s in a year. This system sounds better than the other full systems(ive had 12 different setups 😬) if you sacrifice the rear resos you can add any tips. I went quad.
I filmed this in the early stages, tuning was off. But that was still 480+ to the wheels so I’m happy with that for where the build is currently. Yeah I wanted to go flowmaster super 10s since I love the sound, but interesting to hear about breaking them makes sense though. I will check it out!
@@MarspeedCars youll probably run into issues in a few months. Itll start sounding like a soda can in a bike tire at WOT. Than itll rattle and if you're unlucky, your car will crap a piece of shrapnel 🤣

Sometimes yes sometimes no, wasn’t pushing too crazy. Also still need that rear diff which will help for launching
@@MarspeedCars seems to be held back on launch and burnout attempts so I was guessing traction control is on 😅…beautiful build sir !! I have a custom cam 6.1 magnum I just bought so been looking up modded gen 3 Hemi’s and this was cool to watch !
