It's nicely played duality by firstly telling people that destiny is in our own hands and then,,,,there can be surprises and unexpectations! As I am an atheist, I want a scientific proof from anybody here reading my comment of existence of God! I am sure Sadhguru can give it to me!

I disagree, I don’t think anyone is doomed. You have to look at life positively. Only the ones that have a negative thinking will say that they are doomed, but a person that’s living, enjoying life will always welcome anything ahead them because when you love life, you see life in a totally different way(good) way. Yes, bad days occur sometimes, but that’s because they teach you something. Nothing in life is permanent not even happiness is permanent. I don’t know much about life, but I know that I’m here to enjoy it and live it.

With due respect Sadhguruji,all human beings need time to evolve to master their piece of life with the eternity element that empowers them which you speak. Till then isn't it good to use the knowledge of astrology for our benefit which our ancient sages has given us?

Maybe this is your perspective, but that’s literally just man made. You know what’s crazy is that we depend so much on astrology or people who look at our planets and tell us what to do. I don’t know much about the origins of astrology and I don’t even know if it’s true or not to an extent. But we tend to turn away from that creator, that source of energy that always surrounds us. We are so blinded by others words that we start believing them. I think people who have never even heard of astrology, tend to live a good life because they don’t know what us in their chart and they don’t have to be afraid or overthink. Isn’t it better to live life without knowing what’s in your future, then know what is in your future and stay in constant fear.

@@perlaaguilar3944 U do know that Brahmagupta invented Zero, and later Aryabhatta used the same to deduce many intricate calculations. Both were well known Vedic scholars. All this happened Before Christ.
We live in a digital era, where everything is computerized. I am no computer expert, but I know that it runs in Binary Language, which is nothing more than a bunch of Zeroes and Ones. Zero serves as a pivotal contribution to the modern technology coming from Vedic background. Everything we stand on the very technology is based on that. Just imagine mobiles, internet, satellites, etc.
Astrology is the branch of same Vedic Background. Even today in many competitive exams Indian students use Vedic methods of calculations to enhance their performance.
It's your choice to follow this or not, but please don't label it as nugatory.

So basically Isha yoga is a solution to everything is his point. In his other videos he always berates every other Indian tradition that's not Isha yoga or Yoga, he has low light opinions about bhakti, temple worship, chanting, gnana prapti through adyayana i.e enlightenment through reading scriptures etc. Don't be fooled by this. India is a country that offers multiple spiritual processes to cater to people with different tastes, mindsets and approaches, since ancient Indian tradition acknowledges that people are different from each other and enjoy different types of journeys. He's just a sugar coated fanatic.

I have read and listened it many times that we choose our family before birth , we choose many things before birth as per our Karma to reduce the burden.. At soul stage before birth we all are aware about karmas but after taking birth we tend to forget..
That's what sadguru said...a spiritual person not bothered about Golden spoon or bronze spoon...he will be satisfied with every moment of his life....take responsibility don't try to fix everything before it happens
I don't understand why sg wants to denounce Astrology in totality even though he is quite aware of the southern systems.
First of all Rishis wrote or created it.. Enlightened beings.. Naming from bhrigu to parashara.
Then there is no temple in South India which doesn't consult asthamangala prashne.. Which uses nimmitta (omens) directions, lamp, prashna kundli etc... And you can see all major devasthanams do that including shabarimala.
Sg is not clear on this...
Astrology the way it's practiced in North India is very much wrong.. But in South it's another way around..
However there are cheats everywhere and in every profession and astrology is not and exception.
