I was also astonished how some things are truely predicted by astrology. One day i found astrologer predicted certain aspects of my life & i found it is relating me in some extent. From the very next day i started reading books on astrology, palmistry and i found this is true for most of the people not all.
And Now i found the perfect explanation of astrological influence.
We can change our destiny our destiny is in our hand, if due to bad karmas our soul takes us to wrong path & if we can sense it we should read Bhagvad Geeta, follow habits of good people why they are good , we should pray to God not to take us in wrong direction.
And i m sure if one does regular exercise and meditates regularly, respect and helps other people than it will surely show us the direction of right path to some extent no matter how much bad karma one did in past life.
Afterall whatever things we are doing we should give 100% and than let accept results be it 0 or 1.

Wow! Analogy with a Balance Sheet is something different. Thinking about the positive effect of Karmas by way of Reserves & Surplus, Liabilities, Assets makes it quite simple to understand what Karmas do and the concept of brought / carried forward...
So far every prediction of my horoscope was accurate despite my samskaras and karmas changed a lot. I think it depends on the astrologer's skills as well. my astrologer is a well-known traditional astrologer in my village he is known for his accuracy. I have noticed if they see the kundali of your relatives or family they will know your kundali better increasing its accuracy. though I agree our destiny can be altered through our present karmas. but there is a limit to how much can you alter and if the accuracy of the predictions exceeds the limit of the rate of change in your current karma by calculating even that an astrologer can still predict pretty accurately. that's why mathematics is the main tool used in astrology.

Astrology is a probability, not a reality! Some elements, predictions matches some don't.

When we were born then our parents make kundli, now this kundli is for our soul, who has not done any karna till now in there life,
As we grow up, we do karmas, good and bad, and based on that out that kundli, that chart changes.
So
Karma is directly proportional to Destiny (Kundli).
So your astrology can be changed based on the karma you did.
So live your life in presence.
Focus on yourself, your work, your relationships, health, fitness and your destiny will change.
Astrology means science of the influence of planets on our Sanskar.
With meditation, spirituality we can change our Sanskar for the good.
Astrology is based on what we have done yesterday.
So if you are improving everyday then your yesterday will be for good, present will be for good and future is also for the good.
So don't go against your sanskar.
If you are forced to go against it then if in destiny (starting destiny) it's written bad then it will happen to you but you choose to stick to your sanskar and do good karma then destiny will be different and for good.
Don't be victim of your lifestyle.
Astrology is probability.
If you choose to change yourself, go out of comfort zone then you can change your destiny.

In my opinion as a student of Jyotish when you walk the path of spirituality via mediation or any intense sadhana of deities, it alters your mind as well as different aspects of the koshas and makes u strong enough to not be attached/affected by whatever the external consequences come your way. For instance if your birth chart says that in a certain dasha-antardasha period you will lose job or let's say have break-up, chances of that event occurring will be 100% / unavoidable/ unalterable. Some ppl can be extremely miserable post that while ppl with certain understandings of how life works, karmic knot, relationships and purpose of specific individuals in your life will reach a state of acceptance and for the most part be unaffected by such consequences. The goal will be something higher than the mundane stuff. But let's also agree to this point which ppl with jyotish gyan will understand- How much spiritual will a person be can also be read from his/her chart. Not everybody in this lifetime would take interest in mediation/occult studies because they have heavy karma to be paid towards other aspects of life. Unless the pay off is done, nature will not direct them towards things that lead to liberation. Ranveer taking deep interest in this occult aspect denotes a strong 8th house in his chart, prominent saturn ketu effect or scorpio-Rahu. So its basically your own past karmic accumulation which reflects in the chart which determines your journey in this lifetime, be it spirituality or other aspects. Sanaysi for instance will clearly shows sanyas yog in their chart.

When we were in 11th std, one of my friends in school had gone to a palmist who had come to her society. He told her that the line of education in her palm was short and that she will be able to study only till 12th. My friend wanted to study further so she asked him if there was a solution, he told her to fast on every Thursday which she immediately started doing.
She completed graduation & also did her masters.
So our destiny is in our hands.
I agreed with this.. and somehow I can relate this 👍🏻
But I don't agree with the fast part.
i was also told that I would hardly be able to pursue good education..and I managed to complete masters wid flying colours

Im a believer in astrology. But does sun have got something to do with sleep. I think we can trace its roots to cave man times. It was not safe to hunt at night. So we took rest at night and hunted during the day.

What are the good karmas that we can do then? Meditation is one and?
A lot of people giving opinions about jyotish dont even know simplest basics of jyotish. They speak from what they dont know rather then what they know. What sister shivani means is your birth chart shows your prarabdha karma ( destiny) but there is also kriyamaan karma ( free will ). However the complexity is that sometimes the destiny is so strong, that the person lives their life just like a biological robot. The so called free will is not that free many of times. Not every is titanium coated, not every one can be a yogi. A lot of people just need some help of jyotish to improve their situation a little bit. There is nothing wrong in using astrological remedies. Besides jyotish is the called eye of vedas. Its a totally legit and shastra approved system.
The problem lies in trs .. I knew her philosophy on astrology, so did he .. she ain't an astrologer so she can't speak if it is true or not rather then if it is necessary to know it in one's life. There we can debate on. For some it will be handy for some not.

I think in a way she is right. I had been to Palm leaf Nadi Astrology Centers across India to find my future. Whilst they all told accurate past predictions including my parents name etc but when it came to my future they all failed miserably. All 3 palm leaf centres were very reputed and my original leaves were found but somehow after so many years not a single event has happened as was foretold about me.
A person needs to continuously keep working hard do lots of mantra sadhana, strotra, meditation and yog. We all get what we attract. It is that which is stored within us that needs to be erased and a new programming has to be created.

I absolutely agree with this explanation. Especially when you combine Jamini Techniques with Parashara or Nadi Nandi techniques, it can get very interesting the accuracy.
I do believe taking on a serious spiritual walk will assist. But even some Yogis who have died from illnesses understand that it's better to get it done and over with to "burn that karma" than to keep delaying it.
I think there is a point where one who has done serious spiritual work doesn't care for the body anymore and is ready to ascend, they don't delay the inevitable.

This is a complicated subject, I analysed my birth chart after 36years and most of it was true, I was one good child in the whole family who was obedient and hard working, all others were jealous of me about my academics and career but the things which happened later with me was pathetic. I believe destiny is god's script , whatever is happening in youer life ,or you are doing hard work meditation , bad work ,or good work it's all about you are performing you're god's script , destiny. Yes you can change your birth chart whatever it's telling ,is becouse birth chart made according you're time of birth , there is possibility of chenge in time so you're chart is changes . Astrologer may be wrong in some case ,but not a destiny .you can't chenge god's script.

I actually prefer not to look at Kundali too. Since i'm a pretty worrywart type person. If some astrologer does tells me that smth in my future is about to be bad, then I'll take it to heart. It's rather good that I don't see it. My mom used to study jyotish but left it in the middle after her mental condition worsened. She predicted this 7 year bad period time that will be from my 9th grade onwards. Tbh it was around this time that her condition worsened. If we go by her speculated years of hardship (in marathi we call it sadesati time of period) then rn i should be at the end stages of this time period. Now she predicted these things around the times when she was just diagnosed with schizophrenia. Tbh whatever things she predicted, they were generally about her life. Now my brother has some violent tendencies himself so my father worries if he may become a schizophrenic while my brother jokingly says that if it's a genetic thing then I should be the 1st one who'd end up like that since it starts from my mom, a 1st generation of schizophrenic.
