I would rather go through the stress of building than buying. One of my biggest challenge is how ridiculously small our mass housing kitchen and rooms are as well as poor ventilation because the walls are not that high and windows are limited. I am planing on selling my house to build, i feel like i cant customise this house and its like a microwave oven in here, come winter or summer😭😭.
Yeah, I think the stress is worth it in the end considering the mass housing market takes people's money for nothing. I have seen a house here in Outapi OB David ( not the best neighborhood according to me) going for 870k and there is nothing special about it at all. Low quality finishes, small kitchen and all but I am sure if one was to build, they would do a lot with that 900k. Quality walls and even a better design.
