@Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty • I love these stories of international volunteers helping Ukraine in non-military roles. I think it helps keep up their morale with the constant stress of war Ukrainians are enduring. The person-to-person contact lets Ukrainians know it is not just foreign leaders who support them, but the citizens of those countries. Slava Ukraini. Heroyam Slava. 💪🇺🇦🕊🌻
@Elena I agree, and improved structures fortified to take missile strike impacts reducing human lives. Structures that are meant to receive missile strikes with beacons on them to direct missiles to them instead of human lives. The structures will be strong enough to be indestructible by missile strikes. I have new ideas as to prevent loss of Ukraine lives. 💙💛
Thank you, RFE/RL, for posting things like this. It’s not only informative and touching, it builds the mindset that no matter our country of origin, we are all one world. Saying “love one another” is one thing. Actually seeing people doing so is quite another.
"Ukraine has every right to defend itself. Russia has NO right to be in Ukraine. Crimea and Donbas belong to Ukraine. I support Ukraine. Slava Ukraine."
Yes, it does have every right. Russia should leave. Could you imagine a world where people just think they can move in and take over your property. Russia doesn't understand this is 2023 not the dark ages from the past. We have laws. Wonder how Putin would feel if someone tried to take his home? Is he that ignorant?
That's absolutely heart warming and incredible of those volunteers, to go to a country at war and help rebuild people's shattered homes. Glory to the Heroes!
As a Canadian, I'm proud of other fellow Canadians trying to help. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to help physically so I could only donate capital to help them rebuild and support whatever is needed.
If everyone did what they could and donated what they can (whether that's money, time, skills, etc), Ukraine would have everything she needs to thrive 💖
The war effects are heart-breaking but these volunteers ' work is heart-warming!. Very touching , indeed. May God keep them safe and reward them abundantly!
🥺🥺🥺I love this so much. Thankyou for doing what you can to help these beautiful people. Also, how beautiful it is to see a man be truly expressive of his feelings and appreciation too, that man could teach the men of Australia a thing or two!
There is so much good in the world and Dobrobat demonstrates the good will of people from all over the world who want Ukraine to triumph over evil and allow them to return to normal lives and have a home to return to. With courage and skill they will rebuild one house at a time and in that action there is hope. Slava Ukraine!
I hope more volunteers around the world can help Ukrainian to rebuild their country once they win the war. I would like to help . I am a 58 years old female. I can help to cook for the volunteers . Support from Taiwan
Even if the war ends tomorrow, the prospects for the country in terms of retaining its people through housing and services and danger of mines could drive people to leave. The country basically needs to rebuild while still at war to avoid this.
Need some of the big western industrial companies to come together and set up making prefab homes like they did in the UK after WW2, at least it will give some of the Ukrainian people somewhere to live until full reconstruction can be carried out, which judging by the videos of the illegal destruction by the russian military of civilian homes and infrastructure will take quite a while.
This is what is really needed. We have to rebuild houses, hospitals, schools, churches, and whatever is needed to support a society in Ukraine. These guys are real heroes.
..maybe this could be an opportunity to rebuild to a higher environmental standard as well.. fiberglass window frames, insulation, efficient home heating?
Hey guys! Recently i tried to fill in my form of appliance at Добробат but sadly i do not speak Ukranian, so i couldn’t proceed. I am a Hungarian national, and i want to help my brothers in need with my own hand as soon as possible with the rebuild efforts! Could anybody help me how to reach them in english, or wether i could be to any use without speaking their language? Love and support from Hungary❤️
Gordon Lightfoot, may he now Rest in Peace, once wrote a song which truly applies to those foreign volunteers helping to rebuild Ukraine: 'Rainy Day People'! th-cam.com/video/wpBp81O_l3I/w-d-xo.html Slava Ukraini!
To be attacked by a major world power, by a much bigger population, to be elderly and have your home wrecked; the sense of oppression and powerlessness is hard to imagine. I think this is why he was so touched that foreigners came to help him; he suddenly felt seen, felt he is part of the world again.
It's very emotional to watch the volunteers to rebuild all the devastated houses in the Ukrainian villages . We wonder why Putin is very inhuman ,he dared to cause such atrocious war crimes .He is worst than a wild animal . It's a devil in this world .👿👿👿
"Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 192,590" "From February 24, 2022 to May 4, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 192,590 Russian military personnel, including 650 soldiers over the past day." - ukrinform . .. . ... .. .. @Rick Caldwell • Ukrainians are not "buying" these destroyed properties. These properties are their homes. The volunteers are helping with the rebuild so people can move out of shelters or shared accommodations back into their homes. Ukrainians also have a different mindset than Russians, who have left destruction in the areas they "liberated." Rebuilding underscores the optimism, resilience, and hard work of the Ukrainian people. Rebuilding also demonstrates the confidence Ukrainians have in their military to protect them. People rebuild all the time after hurricanes even though the danger is likely to return. I think Ukrainians have that same world view, that is, the danger is gone & it probably won't come back.
They can rebuild where the places are either liberated or where the bombing has stopped.. The more they maintain their infrastructure the less hassle it is after the war.
Do u think he is like Putin , after 30 years Russia still have broken roads , no toilets, no gas pipes or electricity in smaller towns , they use holes in the ground, instead of toilets, and don't know what a inside bathroom looks like, It's Castles for some and poverty for others in Russia , while President Evil and his Gremlins in the Kremlin pockets the money, SLAVA UKRAINE 🇺🇦
Warms my heart to see good people helping the good people of Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦🌻✌️
Thank you to everyone who helps and supports Ukraine.

Thank you for helping the Ukrainians! It obviously means a lot to them.
"Ukraine has every right to defend itself. Russia has NO right to be in Ukraine. Crimea and Donbas belong to Ukraine. I support Ukraine. Slava Ukraine."
When I Googled them, they came up in Ukraine. Crimea, Ukraine and Donbass, Ukraine.
Крім Україні, Слава Україні

Thank you voluenteers for helping rebuilding.

Those who volunteer could not do so without the help from those that can't like yourself. Thank you for donating when you can.
If everyone did what they could and donated what they can (whether that's money, time, skills, etc), Ukraine would have everything she needs to thrive 💖
Sweet. Thanx volunteers of Dobrobat! 💕
As a Canadian with Ukrainian ancestry, I'd love to come over and volunteer in the rebuilding somehow.

I think this is why he was so touched that foreigners came to help him; he suddenly felt seen, felt he is part of the world again.
And how do you become a volunteers and help in rebuilding these homes? It would be nice if there was a place to contact!!! ;)))
I will like to help, where can I sign up?

Ukrainians have many international friends. God bless Ukraine.😅😅😅
Now I wish I'd gone carpenter instead
How to contact those men ? How can I help.
AFAIK You shouldn't cut this material with angle grinder, you can damage the coating and the metal will start to rust.
Cutting the steel roofing with an angle grinder (0:15) guarantees corrosion and roof failure.
I have done construction my whole adult life. Is there a way I can help?
How do we join?
How do i join your group?

How the Russian people sit by while their Leader and armed forces do such evil I don't understand.
That is Europe
Do they need pool plumbers?
AHEM...... You may want to wait a while before doing that 👀👷 Just saying!
He saw camera then started crying
I feel bad for these folks...but shouldn't they wait til this is over??..I mean they're buying in a warzone..that's not over yet
We don't know when it will be over, and people need help every day.
