i would argue yes they should have an eye on who is on their boat but like any tour or excursion around the world they give you a time to be back on the boat and you have to be there. if you continue swimming i assume amongst people if there were other boats then kinda your fault for not paying attention to the time. Unless tthe company drove off ahead of schedule and with no say then sure complain

We could be at fault for the time because we couldn't check it, who knows, but I don't think this is a reason for leaving 2 people in the middle of the sea, 1 hour away from the main pier. After this, they went to two other snorkeling spots, they didn't realize we weren't there, and after that, they went back to the main pier and they only noticed we were gone once they arrived there. They completely forgot about us and they didn't even try to come back to find us. We were lucky to have other boats around to ask for help, if not, something serious could have happened. - Johnny
