KenzDiy She probably stocked up because they went on sale because kids are eating them😵 at least in my state we had a pretty big crisis where there was the tide pod challenge that made it popular for people to eat tide pods as dares, with kids old enough to know better too doing it and being poisoned 😵 Tide has made a huge effort to try to get the sales back up and made admittedly faulty chid proof zippers so I wouldn’t be surprised if they really cut their prices to compensate for people boycotting Tide. She probably got those for just a couple bucks apiece but perhaps I’m wrong lol...anyways I’m glad people are being more careful now with chemicals and cleaners and are keeping them locked away, personally I’d suggest that mama June keep those in a location any pets or children can’t get into instead of open shelves, but that’s just me being cautious. :)

It depends on the person for example when I was young I had to go on steroids to stop spreading for a disese I have called linear sclerodrrma and I basically tripled my weight by the end of it

Matthew H First of all, you should always be able to decide for yourself if you want to grow up as a vegan person. Then, you can't raise a child all vegan... Kids need to grow and in order to grow they need the vitamins that are contained in eggs, milk, meat, fish... Or it would get unhealthy. I also read all these stories about parents that wanted to raise their kids as vegans, and they sometimes even ended up in prison while their kids ended up in hospitals. And of course, what this mother does to her kids is worse. But I don't think I need to explain why.
I don't get that when you have a perfectly healthy child you need to raise it all vegan. And it was proven that the kids needed medical treatment because they were missing important things in their food. So yeah, I pretty much blame the diet for it. I never said living vegan is bad, but you shouldn't start as a little kid.

Matthew H Asthma is very rarely linked to diets. It's more about genetics, but can happen though other means like smoking. I have asthma, and I had problems with being underweight even though I had a poor diet (But I didn't eat very much was probably the main reason.) It doesn't inherently cause weight gain. It can make exercising a bit harder, since it's harder to breathe, but there are inhalers, and that's basically the only effect concerning weight. They said that she was overweight because of asthma, not getting asthma because of being overweight, so I assume they meant that it contributed to it as if it were a disease that mainly affects weight.
Alecia Mcclellon Asthma is a lung disease, it doesn't have much to do with weight. The only thing I can see asthma affecting in terms of weight is making it harder to exercise. (Though there are inhalers to improve that.) There are tons of other contributing factors. Asthma doesn't inherently cause weight gain. I used to be underweight and I had both a terrible diet (Though I think the main cause of it was I barely ate, but when I did it was unhealthy. I don't have a great metabolism, I'm sort of structured between big and small, there's not much that can contribute to that for me.) and asthma. It's not a major contributor to weight unless it's severe, which mine wasn't really, not since pre-teen ages anyway.

Yes. one of the easiest ways to do it is buy frozen healthy foods. No prepackaged things because they're easy to binge on. I have binge eating issues and the only reason I'm not a fat ass is I buy fresh ingredients I need to cook with effort to eat.

The main reason why she is over weight is because of the asthma. When you have asthma it’s hard to get active and burn calories. She a kid she could eat all of those foods they listed and be thin, but because of the asthma the calories aren’t going anymore. That’s the main reason.

Lumi Jussila how much does it cost to buy? I'm considering becoming a vegan. I've stopped buying eggs all together and I got my own chickens. I get +4 eggs a day now and we treat them well. We don't kill them. Just let them lay eggs and have babies every spring.
kayla black depends where you live and where do you buy it. Seitan can be found in good grocery stores and where I live it isn't that expensive. It may cost more in some organic health stores though. Also, it's much better to grow your own chickens ethically, I'm really happy that you treat them well. From overproducing eggs chickens will still get damage to their bodies. Eggs also raise your cholesterol levels and have lots of other health risks. But hey, I believe the chickens are much more happier with a human that feeds them and all so do what you see the best for them ^_^

If you were really concerned about the health of this child (not to mention if you were REAL doctors) you would privately contact the family & notify them that their child is at severe risk of serious health issues. To put a young girl of just 9 YEARS OLD on a TV show & pick apart her diet is disgusting. And not only did you use her weight & poor diet to BOOST YOUR RATINGS AND GET YOU MONEY but you prescribed her a diet that is high in cholesterol, horribly processed & wrong for the human body. This poor girl needs to be on a HIGH CARB plant based diet & honestly not only would the weight fall right off but she would be able to enjoy being a child without harming other living beings as well as nourishing every cell in her body. Parents of overweight children are blind to the fact that they are engaging in child abuse. If you keep amazing fresh healthy foods in your home, prepare them for your child.. given time the child will come around and eat well because you as a parent MODEL THIS TO THEM. I used to love watching this show so much & now that I have been studying nutrition it just makes me cringe every time. Especially "Dr" Stork who recommends eating similarly to the 'paleo' diet which is just plain cancer-inducing rubbish. Eats a tonne of eggs & meat.. aka rotting dead flesh of another animal. HOW IS THIS CONSIDERED NORMAL? We are conditioned to believe that eating HEN PERIODS, BEE VOMIT, AND FLESH OF ANOTHER LIVING BEING is completely normal and nonchalant like i'm sorry but WAKE UP. This poor girl has grown up addicted to foods that might just kill her.. it was not in her control what she grew up eating. +Rosa Clifford I was on steroids when I was 6 (and have been on them a few months every few years because of Crohn's disease flares) and i was underweight/healthy weight. Steroids are used to combat inflammation. Many disease require that. It is sad that kids have to deal with that, no matter their weight.

Final conclusion. Mama June. Feed Alanna better, healthier foods. Even if you dont like salads you should let Alanna try one to see if she likes them. Everything alanna eats isnt her choice. Take some control and feed her a salad. I recommend the 3 bite rule. Even if she-or any of your kids- dont like the food, make them eat 3 bites before they are excused from the table. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IS PORTION CONTROL use small containers for snacks. Only alow alanna to eat one of the snacks for every 4 hours so she doesnt over snack. You need to take some control and wisen up before it effects alanna.
