I feel like this time I managed to communicate the idea about flexible time-blocking with more examples but also more explanation. Trying to explain your own strategy is a lot more difficult than explaining something you've just read somewhere :D I listen back to the video and created a guide that follows the instructions. It's a lot of information, so I tried to make it as helpful as possible :) evieran.notion.site/Time-Blocking-for-People-w-ADHD-5f4c0c657c234f0c8e0b03b292f06fbf?pvs=4
Thank you so much! I have spent countless hours researching and trying to come up with a solution to be able to juggle being a single mom, going to school full- time for occupational therapy and working around this. This school year just started, and I am going to try to implement this instead of the other options that people keep trying to recommend. Please do not stop making these videos 🙏
You’re very welcome! The whole point of this channel is to be useful and relatable :) Don’t forget to check out the Template and if I remember correctly I also wrote again some of the instructions there. Let me know if you experience any issues accessing the Notion app :)
Evie!!! Thank you so much for everything you're doing on this channel!!! You're content is very practical, creative and effective for neurodivergent mindes like us 😍❤️ please keep going 🙏
Yellow = annoying life maintenance tasks you listen to podcasts to while doing 😆 I use bullet journaling, which has been great for maintaining a schedule because it is so versatile of a method, where you can implement different templates at different times depending on needs of the moment, plus it is hand-written and so all “your own.” Thanks for the tips Evie!
Thank you for sharing your experience 😊 I try to stay around the topic of adhd but with my psychology background and my own distracted head, I sometimes create different videos too 🙈
Paper way is so underappreciated, it is free of distractions, temptations to switch, and when an untimely thought comes up, you just... put it to paper!
Thank you, Evie. I'm just planning my wrek now and I happened upon your video. I'll try some of your tips. I actually already print out the planninh agenda I made, and I hand write all the tasks, things to work on long term etc. I appreciate the info and ideas. Cheers from Canada!
You got this! :) Long-term thinking is hard for everybody, but especially for people with ADHD, so don't get discouraged if you have to start a few times before you reach some consistency
Hey hey, sorry, I decided to watch my video and write a guide as well, as it is a lot of information. You can now find the link in the pinned comment I left.
