Yea, akarius is still better due to rivens and is one of the better pairings with zephyr due to ocucor being a little inconsistent but yea pyrana is still able to do work when it’s allowed to if you don’t build it then it’s probably a tier, but yea needless to say obviously the tier list is more broken than the in game usage percentages on your profile(not like *your* profile specifically i mean…you know)

Ivara has a wonderful kit in a vacuum, it's just that her kit just doesn't fit the other 99% of warframe, and even in her element (Spy), Wukong blows her out of the water by virtue of Cloud being significantly faster and not needing an augment to go through lasers. It's a weird state to be in where I'd say she's in a fairly bad spot, but I wouldn't really want to see her get a big rework.
wukong sweeps ivara in spy due to lack of movement. Her actual niche are level cap invisibility builds but even there octavia can do that without movement restrictions while also having good buffing skills

The TH-camrs make content for late game. You're not going to see Beginner builds without grinding the game. A beginner needs to focus on getting past ALL the main quest and learninig to Mod what they have.

I feel like part of the fun in Warframe is trying different builds on weapons. I see no problem with someone running heat + viral on the ax instead of corrosive + cold for example. And heck, why not even make a mega fart gass build. Just do as you please it’ve a PVE game where essentially any build is going to work unless you’re doing endurance. So to answer the rhetorical question “just why” I would answer :Why not? It’s just a video-game after all.

It’s not for other people but for me to build and do it ingame, kinda like a library where I can theory craft. only purpose for Overframe is to make builds yourself and see the conditionals and damage vaguely but more detailed than in Warframe, you can also configure a Riven which is pretty neat. The stats are usually also right. But for the love of god in general dont get any build from there, dont follow the teirlist.

But that health thing doesn't matter if your getting one shoot by any lvl 180 or higher. Her second ability helps her to fight higher levels like that. Like I had over 300 ability strengths on her and was getting one tap down. But now idk because shields now have damage reduction so maybe but still soul gate is ass lol like it's only cool to see it work but the damage is not great I think hee 4th is called soul gate idk because I never actually kept it on her
Not sure you're reading these comments, but here goes. First of all, I enjoyed watching all of this. I do, however, have couple of pointers: 1. TH-cam videos have the same issue as Overframe does. And sometimes even worse, as people don't mark what patch the video works on or update them. Sure you can figure out that yourself, but so can the people using Overframe. 2. When you're going through builds and saying they're awful, you often don't iterate why it's so. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes you do, but as said, often don't. I can guess it can become tiring if you do WF content around builds a lot, so it's understandable. I've been around a while in WF and I can often guess, but I'd still like to hear it from you personally. It would also help newer players who are watching your stuff. I also agree that the tierlist is awful and Overframe could do a bit more updating or hiding/separating builds that aren't updated.
people might call me crazy, but rhino is an S tier warframe iron skin is busted, roar is busted, his stomp is crazy underrated, yes his 1 is useless but thats a free helminth. and now that jade eximus exist, you can easily get a free 2-3 million iron skin by standing under the jade laser beam (also, i think you're sleeping on the akarius prime. its insanely strong)
iron skin is not busted it just gives overguard that goes away in a few seconds if you don't charge it with the last few seconds of a jade light eximus beam ramped up. Roar is roar and it is unnerfed so you are right about that but stomp is not underrated, dedicated cc powers are not good on a frame that can already survive and has an ability like roar in his arsenal even though it goes through overguard if i am not mistaken. Don't get me wrong tho it is a very fun ability but it is just OK on rhino
@beegyoshi1685 the overguard doesn't go away instantly if you use stomp to keep enemies off you tho, plus with the augment it will regen all iron skin. Unfortunately tho it no longer affects overguard

To be fair Overframe is not a bad platform its just like Internet there's some bad and good stuff on there. I got most of my build from there and even did my first level cap with a overframe build. Seeing this video a new player will think that overframe isn't worth looking into, when in reality you can find a lot of good build on there, specifically as a casual player.
I feel like I state enough that Ninjase is good but you need to pay attention to the relevancy of the build. And Overframe is the problem for it not reseting the tier list or defaulting to lastest patch.
The problem is that overframe can be made much better with just few simple changes, but they keep just ignoring those issues so you have lots of new players being confused and lots of experienced players having to constantly explain these things to new players so they dont get confused.
Basically the same as looking on TH-cam for builds. Everything min/max for going beyond hour plus in missions. Doesn’t help newer players due to investment costs of them. But does show nearly anything in warframe can be viable. Meta = boring big damage numbers gameplay
Honestly they should just rename their tier lists to “Most Popular” or something. Definitely agree that votes should be snapshotted to specific releases/updates. For the builds though I think you might have it twisted a bit. There needs to be a differentiation between content and platform. For example yes someone could make a clown build and post it and random noob could find it but you could say the same thing about TH-cam. But one great thing about the site is the platform feature where it easily lets you copy/build/share a build As a Diablo player where it’s common build guides and videos will offer links to various build sites to share builds, the Warframe content creator practice of flashing their build and expecting viewers to screenshot it or keep replaying the video is bonkers to me
Warframe has so many characters to play that it’s hard to tier them properly. Especially with a player base that is more casual than competitive. Hey im watching this video as a returning player who didnt rly know how to mod when i last played 5 years ago and im trying to make decent builds now. I have been using overframe and im already seeing that i have made mistakes from this video but aside from your videos are there other places to look? And i wouldnt mind seeing a "fixing the overframe tier list" type video so i actually know what to keep an eye out for. I only rly have a vague idea of base stats. Im glad i caught this "overframe bad" video so i can try and find alternatives but i now am curious as to what specifically makes a specific weapon or warframe bad or what makes a build bad here
oh your talking about the website warframe guide, I misread as overshield, Its just a guide site and the tier list is just that a tier list which were never updated anyway.
The warframe tier list needs to have categories such as survivals, defenses, farming etc. There is a lot of universes where say Oberon and trinity, are far superior to Rhino, its a matter of opinion and play style, and I feel like warframe has done a great job ensuring most frames are balanced. Caliban is one of my mains. He is S tier, TO ME, maybe not to everyone. There is definitely a place for every frame for every play style, thats what makes this game amazing!
Overframe was good to find some decent builds but now its outdated as hell. With all those nerfs and buffs all time it just can't keep up. I am Legendary 4 and still struggling to get some nice meta builds right. Mostly of the cases I just grab first 4 or 5 builds that has videos with last updated version and slap onto my warframes or guns.
As a newish player, how would I go about how strong a frame or weapon is? I know I could try it, but I personally like to know if something will be good before investing in it.
I have a friend who swears by Overframe and even pulled a VERY nasty Yarelli build from it in some way, but damn. I deserve some massive friend cred for not shoving breakdowns like this in his face! Lmao

the weapon is focus on headshot to get crit bonus on the weapon ax52 but all elements is fine and working on normal star chart but on steel path i suggest corrosive is way to go and hunter munition, Viral/Heat only good for pure status with primer weapon
I run archon vitality mesa tho i run straight heat and tons of fire rate. I regularly get heat procs. 10% status at 50+ fr is roughly 5 status per second ×2 on heat procs

I don't wanna be rude, since ninjase is cool and all, but some builds are suboptimal, to say the least. It's a good start but players need to start thinking and trying thing for themselves, and not just copy builds.

i know this is supposed to be a quick video and you didn't have time to check thoroughly or whatever... but some of the builds work in some specific scenarios and not all of them are as bad as you made it seem. for example, the nataruk build, the first one - if you checked the description, even glanced over it, you'd see there's a video and quite a decent explanation as to why it is the way it is. number one reason is playing zephyr afk and shredding corpus. thats it and it doesn't work as well, or at all, for anything else. and if it has 1700 votes, people apparently were successful with it and enjoyed it. since that's what playing games is about, wtf cares? and while i dont agree with TheMoon's builds, noone should be bullied off the site for it. granted, he made it worse himself, but most people commenting were fucking idiots just as well lmao and no, i don't have any builds or better builds, but overframe helped my noob ass when i was starting out. granted, i wanted to learn, so i did, and not everyone does, but still. the tierlist should absofuckenlutely be reset, however, yes, definitely.
Heats broken right now on anything with high fire rate cause it can stack infinite and it now stripes 50 percent of armor along side corrosive projection you can shred almost any enemy viral heat nukor ocucor phantasma ect all work really well granted a crit bulid would generally be better for ax
since enemy armor is capped now corrosive heat for 90% strip is pretty good especially considering the fact that nourish is the most popular helminth so you can outsource viral pretty easily

The other issue I have is even on TH-cam a lot of content creators post builds that very few people can run without grinding everything possible.
I mean many build TH-camrs are making builds that are min maxxed and meant for “late game”

Hey im watching this video as a returning player who didnt rly know how to mod when i last played 5 years ago and im trying to make decent builds now.
I have been using overframe and im already seeing that i have made mistakes from this video but aside from your videos are there other places to look? And i wouldnt mind seeing a "fixing the overframe tier list" type video so i actually know what to keep an eye out for. I only rly have a vague idea of base stats. Im glad i caught this "overframe bad" video so i can try and find alternatives but i now am curious as to what specifically makes a specific weapon or warframe bad or what makes a build bad here

Seeing Yareli in c tier hurt me on levels I couldn’t possibly fathom. Shes either mid to bottom of A tier or at the lowest, top of B. She’s incredible
Shouldn't people who shit on Overframe builds put their builds there, to negate the 'bad' builds influence? To make the site 'good'?
What democracy does to a tier list:
The warframe tier list needs to have categories such as survivals, defenses, farming etc. There is a lot of universes where say Oberon and trinity, are far superior to Rhino, its a matter of opinion and play style, and I feel like warframe has done a great job ensuring most frames are balanced. Caliban is one of my mains. He is S tier, TO ME, maybe not to everyone. There is definitely a place for every frame for every play style, thats what makes this game amazing!
Overframe was good to find some decent builds but now its outdated as hell. With all those nerfs and buffs all time it just can't keep up. I am Legendary 4 and still struggling to get some nice meta builds right. Mostly of the cases I just grab first 4 or 5 builds that has videos with last updated version and slap onto my warframes or guns.

As a newish player, how would I go about how strong a frame or weapon is? I know I could try it, but I personally like to know if something will be good before investing in it.

I have a friend who swears by Overframe and even pulled a VERY nasty Yarelli build from it in some way, but damn. I deserve some massive friend cred for not shoving breakdowns like this in his face! Lmao
very nasty as in good or bad ? also overframe may not be good but takes very little time to browse compared to youtube videos and you can judge for yourself if you like a build or not, just simply do not copy the bad builds is what i am getting at in the end

chroma is a easy A cause he is extremly good with low investment and the amount of damage you do while you can face tank up to lvl 200 almost anything while standing still is crazy he is simple and does crazy dmg

Corrosive cold is what I personally run on mine (my AX is laser focused on headshots)

but all elements is fine and working on normal star chart
but on steel path i suggest corrosive is way to go and hunter munition,

I run archon vitality mesa tho i run straight heat and tons of fire rate. I regularly get heat procs. 10% status at 50+ fr is roughly 5 status per second ×2 on heat procs

@@hdgdhnxbdx1619 the fact that there are way better weapons doesn't make acceltra not good enough for steel path, it just means the other weapons are overkilling which doesn't add to your kpm if you are still killing easily

I don't wanna be rude, since ninjase is cool and all, but some builds are suboptimal, to say the least. It's a good start but players need to start thinking and trying thing for themselves, and not just copy builds.

Which are some suboptimal builds better to avoid tho?
i know this is supposed to be a quick video and you didn't have time to check thoroughly or whatever... but some of the builds work in some specific scenarios and not all of them are as bad as you made it seem. for example, the nataruk build, the first one - if you checked the description, even glanced over it, you'd see there's a video and quite a decent explanation as to why it is the way it is. number one reason is playing zephyr afk and shredding corpus. thats it and it doesn't work as well, or at all, for anything else. and if it has 1700 votes, people apparently were successful with it and enjoyed it. since that's what playing games is about, wtf cares?
and while i dont agree with TheMoon's builds, noone should be bullied off the site for it. granted, he made it worse himself, but most people commenting were fucking idiots just as well lmao
and no, i don't have any builds or better builds, but overframe helped my noob ass when i was starting out. granted, i wanted to learn, so i did, and not everyone does, but still.

Heats broken right now on anything with high fire rate cause it can stack infinite and it now stripes 50 percent of armor along side corrosive projection you can shred almost any enemy viral heat nukor ocucor phantasma ect all work really well granted a crit bulid would generally be better for ax
since enemy armor is capped now corrosive heat for 90% strip is pretty good especially considering the fact that nourish is the most popular helminth so you can outsource viral pretty easily
Overframe would be much better if you could private your builds.
