- An amazing long scaled slope shoulder from Gibson. Rosewood back and sides with aged red spruce top and dressed to the nine's in true 1930's fashion. Towards the end there are some direct comparisons to the J45 Deluxe rosewood!

@@acousticmusicnthings That’s what I do buy em check em out then sell em. I’ve had the opportunity to check out so many higher end acoustics but I think this may be a keeper.

I had a AJ made in 2010 while they were still in regular production. Loudest most powerful acoustic i ever played. A absolute CANNON 💯. Totally different animal than other gibsons. It would ring and hum by someone just talking across the room 😂. I traded a Martin HD28 for it after a guy totally drowned me out in a bluegrass jam with the AJ. I was totally shocked a Gibson could do that! Sadly it burned in a house fire 3 years ago and now they cost 6k 😢. So im back to playing Martins again
I prefer the AJ because of its 25.5” scale length and tonality.
Lol... Like my Recording King RD-328 has that deep V profile neck on it. It takes time to get used to it. My Alvarez MD60BG has the perfect neck profile, in my opinion.

Hi, Is the J45 tuned down lower than the AJ?
I checked, and yes the j45 deluxe is in fact almost a half tone lower! Good ears! Guess I'll have to make another video haha

I have a 69 southern jumbo and the neck is way thinner than aj45
Some day I will have an AJ........
