STOROJET case study: Modellbau Härtle automates 50,000 storage locations

The online dealer Modellbau Härtle from Marktoberdorf (Germany) counts on the automated storage and order picking system STOROJET. The almost 6 m high system on a floor area of more than 700 m² with approx. 8000 goods carrier presentations per day. The almost 8,000 goods carriers in different sizes are taken to the in-feed and out-feed stations by robots on continuously optimized routes.
The almost 8,000 goods carriers of different sizes are brought by the robots to the storage and retrieval stations via continuously optimized routes. The goods carriers have a total of 12 individual superstructures for over 50,000 storage locations for a wide variety of goods sizes up to 90 cm in length.
Together with the software manufacturer Vepos and the on-demand packaging provider Packsize, a holistic concept for more speed, cost savings and environmental protection was created.
