I'm an ex-Muslim who found my way to Christ thanks to Dr. Peterson.
I don't know if I'm Catholic, Protestant or another faith but I do believe that Jesus is the Truth and Love and the Word incarnate.

Matt, Daniel's story echos mine so similarly. I encountered Jordan Peterson at a very low point in my life and I was enthralled by his Biblical lectures, from Jordan to Bishop Barron and others I started to fall in love with my Catholic faith that no one taught me as a child. In the words of Bishop Barron, Peterson gave me "permission" to take religion seriously; then it was Our Lady and the rosary, I've had such intense experiences praying the Holy Rosary. God bless the work you do Matt.

His work made me realize the incredible depth of the Holy Bible possessed and I decided to ask some questions to a priest. I went on to reach out a priest in a catholic cathedral at İstanbul and after talking with padre anton i have been trying to attend weekly mass ever since. I am a cathecumen as of now for some years and im aware the process doesn't usually take this much long but may I humbly ask for your prayers so that I can receive the gift of baptism. I think it was Fr. Anton whom I met there the 1st time. He was a memorable priest. The first time it was quite an adventure - very difficult - to get there but I insisted on persevering as my cab driver got lost and seemed dishonest. When I finally arrived - it was all worth it. Do you know the parish nearest the airport - is that Fr. Anton's parish? The 2nd time I recall was more in the downtown - commercial area - Franciscan parish?. What are the names of these 2 parishes? Please refresh my memory if you don't mind. Peace of Christ +

Him and Stephan Molyneux were actually kind of a big part of me eventually finding Catholicism. His biblical series though certainly got me to at least be more open minded about the old testament when before I had the view of God being rather mean if the God of the OT was the one true God. Wow! Exactly the same happened to me! Praise the Lord... I stumbled upon the biblical series in 2018.
I watched everyone, glued on every word. He brought the bible to life for me.. This is a time when everything was falling apart from me...
    2019 I had a calling to get a rosary!
    Recited (Apostles creed)
Fell to my knees!! Crying a river of joy!! I knew I was home, my heart burst open, all my pain and hurt came pouring out.. Kept saying, sorry! Sorry! For the filthy rag! I was!
Looking up to heaven through my window! I felt a pure love!! A love I can't explain! So divine! It filled my whole being...
My heart was singing, my soul dancing!! Unbelievable! But true!
I had a love for all things!! Not afraid of anything! I knew, we all have a beautiful eternal soul!!
We are all one, in Christ. It was so profound! I wanted to run through the streets, shouting! Hallelujah!!
God is faithful!! I had a broken heart and crushed spirit! I tell you!
When you cry out to the Lord!! He will hear you!!
"Blessed virgin Mary" led me to the foot of the cross! Where I prayed everyday, for forgiveness! Then on a beautiful summers evening 2020.
    Jesus heard me!
Again my heart burst open! I cried a river of forgiveness to all who ever hurt me....
I tell you! Deep emotion! I was exhausted! But elated at the same time.... I've seen many signs! Form Jesus!! Deny myself pick up my cross and follow him!
I love the "Holy rosary" my holy mother I will defend!
Who saved a wretch like me!!
Rosary is a powerful weapon against demons!! They hate it and her!!
    Believe! Because its true!
Catholic tradition is true! As night and day!! That's why most attack the faith!!! My God! I humble myself before you everyday and thank you for Jesus, Mary!! Who rescued me.. My race! I must finish! I've won, nothing yet!! I will go where my lord leads me! We must truly deny ourselves, sell all, give to the poor and follow him...
I'm so, so happy!! These demons, do not frighten me! I laugh!! They are so weak in spirit!! Never be afraid!!
Only believe! And it will be so!!
Jesus, Mary. I love you! I love you! I love you! Save souls!
I must complete my race, win the gold of heaven....
I love my Mother! Truly! Never forget that first beautiful encounter.. Which blew my mind! Of the purity! Of our mother!!
Sin I detest!! Now celibate, sober! For the past 4yrs...
Still learning and growing in the word!! The bible is the food of life!
Gospels is the bread of life!
All I ask everyday is for wisdom, understanding!!! That's all I need!
To grow into an oak tree!!
    God bless! Jordan peterson!
    God bless!
    Ave Maria!

(Proud Patron here) Jordan Peterson awoke philosophy in me. I was always fairly philosophical, but I didn't know anyone who thought or spoke like I did. I had already converted to Catholicism three years prior when I had come across his initial viral blowup with the pronoun thing, and I was totally fascinated with his biblical series, which he started a little after I first got to know him. As a convert from fundamentalist evangelical Protestantism, there were many things I was revising in my mind about the fundamental nature of reality, and it was a moderate crisis of faith, that is to question in what way God exists. Not too long afterward, I was introduced to you, Matt, and I discovered yet another brilliant mind who wrote like I thought: my beloved St. Thomas Aquinas. I fell in love again with our Church's intelligence and wisdom. Since then, I have been working on my own Magnum Opus, a work on commerce and trade as a sacramental, that is that it is the primary mode in which we love our neighbors and fulfill the second greatest command. This work in progress has many people to thank; I truly stand on the shoulders of giants.

Here's an even bigger wow for you. Ayn Rand brought me back to the Catholic church.
Not because I dislike her so much that I went looking for God. Instead, I think she's brilliant, but I don't agree with her completely, and she introduced me to Thomas Aquinas.

Thanks for your entry - made me laugh. I used to have long arguments with a girlfriend from college about Ayn Rand. I don't like her either. :-) Funny thing - I ended up going to a Catholic Seminary in NY and then missionary literally the 4 corners Russia - finished in St. Petersburg. Ayn & I took opposite paths... Haha!

I'm shocked how so many had the same experience as me, first I discovered Jordan's biblical series, then Johnathan Pageau on Jordan's podcast showed me that God is real, and finally Bischop Barron came onto Jordan's podcast and the Bischop truly drew me back into my faith. I am once again and more then ever a practicing Catholic, ultimately thanks to God who put Jordan, Jonathan and Bischop Barron on my (digital) path.

I relate to the taxi drivers, having a rosary hanging from my car’s rearview mirror and doing the sign of the cross every time I pass by a church😅 A funny anecdote is that we have a lot of expressions of surprise that call to Mary such as “Our Lady!” and “Hail Mary” (sounds weird in english) and if you stop to think about it, it’s funny hearing atheists and protestants saying it.

I was raised Catholic. But hearing Jordan peterson's biblical series in highschool got me into Bible studies and to open my heart to other practices of the faith. His wife Tammy praying the rosary was a contributing factor to my goal of praying two authentic whole hearted rosaries a day; At the time I wasn't praying at all but I was like, I don't even think she's a practicing catholic and she's praying the rosary more than me. I don't even think two rosaries a day is even close to the prayer life of a saint but it's already a huge challenge.

But I understand that in this Muslim country, they won't let you worship or talk about Jesus our Savior! Huh?

I was a huge secular fan of Jordan Petersen know he was an academic and I was fully expecting him to eversierate the bible, but then the reverence he showed to the scripture to me so aback I had to understand more. I was so anti Nihlistit it was the perfect antidote. I did go the reformed protestant route however I am learning more and more about the history of Christianity, so who knows =).
