Hey beautiful! ✿ It’s Gina from orchidandopal.com. In this video, I will show you how to create a beaded bezel around an irregular shape - a heart (thanks to a viewer's great suggestion)! This tutorial should be a nice jumping off point for other designs. I hope to follow up with some alternate ending videos, to show you tutorials on some different design options, which all start this way.

Hi Gina , love this bezel. Possibly the best tutorial I have watched that isn’t a round or oval stone. So glad I found this right before Valentine Day. Thanks once again for taking the time to teach your viewers. You are a wonderful teacher. 🥰💕🙏
Yay! I am so glad it was helpful, Elena! Thank you for your comment. 💜
This is out of date as your video is 2 years old. I just had to say, Thank You! Your instructions and video are excellent. You explain so well and the videos are in focus. Your hands aren't cut off so that I can see all crucial changes, etc. Thank you again!
Awww, I am so glad to hear it!! 💜💜💜 Thank you for watching!
Thank you.
LOVE THAT BLUE STONE! Thank you for showing how to bead around different shaped stones. I want to give it a try real soon. BTW....I'm in love with the topaz/ brownish colored pendant you made. It's gorgeous. 💕💕💕😊🌹
Sure does give one a new perspective of how much labor goes into jewelry we see for sale. I know I love watching your videos.
Thank you so much!
Beautifully done these cabochon gems, dear Gina!!! You're mastering everything you take as a challenge; you're an awesome designer, jewelry maker, instructor/teacher, and wonderful and kind person. Love all three pendants, but my favorite is with the tiger gemstone ♡ is so gorgeous! Hope some day I can make something similar as yours! GOD continue blessing you and yours fruitful ♡
Thanks so much, Lidia!
Nice job beading that cabachon--it's good to know you are able to use a bead which is irregular shaped and doesn't have a hole to make a beautiful beaded piece. Thanks for sharing this project with us.
Hi Gina. That is very pretty . I love the color of the cabochon . Thank you for your new ideas. You are really great. God Bless. Have a great day and a beaded evening.
Thanks so much, Fran! Have a great day too!
Gina, Very beautiful bezels for these cabs. Thanks again for sharing your talents and creativity .Happy Easter to you and your family! Blessings to you also.
I have a lot of heart shaped point back crystals. This helps a lot. Thank you so much!
I am so glad to hear it, Michie! 💜💜💜

Great tutorial Gina and beautiful little heart pendants. 💜💖💜✨💫
Excellent explanation!
Thanks so much, Daisy!
Yay! I saw the notification earlier, and thought, Yes!, Gina 'took the challenge', lol. I couldn't wait to watch (though I couldn't until now). It turned out wonderfully, looks like its radiating outward, straight from the center of the heart! A challenging shape, rendered so beautifully! THANK YOU!! XOXO!!
Thank you!!! I am so happy you made the suggestion, and you like what I came up with! :)
Thanks so much Gina
Very cool!! I was wondering how you did the point of the heart!!! 💜
What an awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful work. 💕🌹💕
Thanks so much, Roberta! 💜
Awesome, Gina. Thank you!

My pleasure! 💜💜💜
WOW, so pretty. TYFS
Thanks, Kim!
Hi Gina, these are gorgeous... I want to know how you did the nail on the pink heart... That's gorgeous...great tutorial... You've outdone yourself again.. Thank you so much... Stay creative and Blessed...💎💎💎💎💎
Lovely as usual ❤️
Thank you, Nancy!
Hi Gina! Thank you for the tutorial! So beautiful! It looks like Peyote in the round? I have some smaller cabachons from my boss's bead bag, maybe I can try it out! Have a great night! 😊📿💗
Beautiful !! how big are cabs. Would they be too heavy 4 earrings?
Hi! The cabs are 15x18mm - not too big and heavy, if you don't mind larger earrings, and keep the outer embellishments to a minimum. Thanks for watching!
Awesome
Thanks, Rene!
Hi Gina thank you for another great video, I have been wanting to learn how to do this, fast question though I have some 15/0 seed beads in 1 grams and some bigger but would 1 gram be enough for doing these
Hi Carolyn - I think so! It really doesn't take many 15/0's. Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed!
can you use the Swarovski crystal heart? can you do a video using one of them please, thank you. I have some swarovski crystal hearts that I believe would like beautiful done this way.
How do you find out about the USA shipping ? I was going to order from them but chickened out because I did not know if I had to pay for duty. I would appreciate any advice. 😊😍
Hi Mary! I haven’t incurred additional fees on my orders, but you may reach out to them directly to double-check, if you are worried. I also found this in their FAQ section: www.beebeecraft.com/help/6-customs-duties.html. I hope this helps! :)
Hi Gina, it me Kelly Broderick. I purchased the green and gold beads and a crystal in center. I love it so much. It is packed for my vacation coming up soon. I can't find something in the yellow. But I love what I seeing here. So I going to watch and study what I want and let you know. Plz excuse my handle name. There is a big reason why and youtube won't let me change it back. So sorry but I and a group of people are on a mission. I love the dark heart with the gold beads. Can you make it bigger? I love your work. Thank you and again, sorry for the name change but I have to wait 90 days to change it back, lol. I made a mistake, it is the second heart with the gold and black beads. It right at begginning and i think the stone in center looks like a sort of brown. I want it truly. It is with the nickel and the aluminum .
Hi Kelly, thank you so much for your comment! If you like the second heart pendant I had made with the gold and brown, I am happy to sell it. I know you said you wanted something big, though, and it is smaller than the green/gold piece you purchased. I will keep my eye out for things that are yellow that I could turn into a nice focal, and try to keep you posted! Thanks so much for asking! 💜
Awesome
