    Allie, Thanks so much for sharing this video. As always, a very informative topic. I have not bezeled any rivoli's or cabochons because of not knowing where to start. So, Lindsey doing all the hard work for us beginners is very helpful. I'm actually going to give it a try this evening! Wish me luck! I don't find beading very enjoyable while doing the work. However, I am always happy with the end result! Thanks again Allie and Lindsey! 🌺

      Thanks, Melonee, it's like that in life too. Sometimes we need to do things that feel laborious, but the end result brings joy! Put your favorite music on while you're beading! 😜👍🏼

    Great info, here, Allie! Thank you. Now to look for brick stitch bezeling. Thank you.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cindy, I'm not sure about brick stitch when it comes to bezelling because it's flexing in the opposite direction. With bezelling, you need it to cling to the cabochon as it grows up around the edges, so the up/down shape of peyote does that perfectly. If you used brick stitch, it might not do that because it's flexing the opposite way. Let us know if you find something about it! 😃

      @@Potomacbeadco oh, OK. I thought Allie said she bezeled one of the cabs or rivolis using brick stitch. I'll watch it again. I may have misunderstood. Thank you.

      @@Potomacbeadco I understood that she said that she liked starting a bezel with brick stitch as well. I came to the comments to see if I could find the link. Possibly Allie misspoke? I heard it as well..

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer the two bead Ladder Stitch, it is easy to measure around your item to bezel and does not shrink when you switch to the Peyote Stitch.

    I enjoy your videos and I can tell you are passionate about beading! I have been struggling with doing a bezel for a large Swarovski pear shaped crystal. My crystal is 40x27 mm. Is peyote stitch the best bezel technique for this crystal? Please advise how to figure out how many 11 size delicas or seed beads I need for the first peyote row. Much appreciated!
